Auren made his way to the center of the throne room. Seeing her son alive and well, Senara breathed a sigh of relief and immediately came to his side. Placing her hands on his shoulders, she asked in concern, "Auren, are you alright?"
She couldn't help but worry about Auren. After all, he was her only son. He had been frail since birth, and as he grew older, there were countless times when she nearly lost him to his illness. Watching him overcome those struggles and grow into a fine young man fueled her determination to see him take the throne she believed was rightfully theirs. Seeing him unmoving for an entire day had thrown her into a panic, but now her worried heart began to settle.
"Mother, I'm fine. Don't worry," Auren said, gently consoling her. He then turned to face the man on the throne. Crossing his arms over his chest, he gave a perfunctory bow. "Greetings to His Majesty," he said to Eros.
