Naruto POV:
'Kid, are you sure you want to do this?' Yeah, it's for the best.
I took a deep breath as I came to my decision, I decided to learn under Danzo. I know, I know, it may seem like a bad choice, but hear me out. I could learn tons of stuff from him, like;Danzo's experience as the leader of Root and his manipulative tactics could provide me with strategic insights and skills that could be invaluable in a world where political intrigue and deception are common. Also, he could help me better understand the darkside of the village and help me to better navigate the complexities and how to protect myself from these threats.
"Mr Shimura, I'll take you up on that offer." The old man smirked before sticking his hand out to me, which I gripped. "Pleasure to work with you, Uzumaki-san. Let us discuss the term of your tutorship
under me." With that, I bid adieu to Hiruzen and left with Danzo, but I don't plan on being part of root, don't worry.

Hiruzen POV: after Naruto and Danzo left
No.....no….no
I could feel the weight of Minato and Kushina's disappointment on my shoulders, my head slumped as I puffed at my pipe.
The weight of such a choice, a decision that can shape the course of his life. Naruto, with boundless potential, chose to follow Danzo. I can only imagine the consequences, Danzo's teachings will definitely refine Naruto's abilities and mold him into a formidable ninja but in exchange for that young boy's wonder, curiosity, innocence, his empathy. All of it, gone.
Sigh
"Boar, bring me some sake." I ordered the anbu guarding me. Naruto will be a mere shadow of himself after.
No, I will trust and have faith in that young man, he's capable, he's the son of the fourth hokage and, dare I say future hokage himself?

Naruto POV:
"So, where to Mr Shimura?" I asked the old crow as I walked next to him, hands in pockets, all cool and shi-

Sarcasm? 'Obviously brat, your slang as you say is absolutely horrendous' Haters gonna hate, I then blocked them both out.
"We're going to where your training will take place. Worry not, while your training will push you to the absolute brink, you will have time to relax."
"I wasn't worried about that, I meant them." I jerked a finger towards a group of villagers who were staring at us.
"What's he doing with Danzo-sama?" "Maybe Danzo-sama is finally getting rid of him once and for all." "Yes! That makes sense."
I deadpanned at their not so silent whispers, Danzo smirked, "This is a good chance, come." I was confused, but followed behind Danzo as he moved to the front of the crowd.
He held up a hand, silencing the entire crowd, that's mad aura, not gonna lie.
'I'm going to kill myself' I almost snorted at Kurama's muttering, but I controlled myself as Danzo began speaking.
"Konoha! I come before you with an announcement of utmost importance. From now on, Naruto Uzumaki is my student, spread the word! I shall not tolerate any disrespect towards any student of mine. That would be the same as questioning my judgment, which I'm certain none of you don't. Thank you, that is all."
I was a bit impressed, he handled the situation way better than Hiruzen would have. The old mummy smirked at me as the crowd dispersed,"Well, that's what you were after, weren't you? You wanted me to announce that you were my student. Quite cunning, an essential skill for a ninja. You continue to impress me. Come, we're nearly there."
I raised an eyebrow, I expected him to get that I was after something. Anyway, after about 10 minutes, we reached an extremely tall building, no fortress would be more appropriate. He led me inside and loaded my chakra signature into the seal at the door before we went deep underground. Like super deep. It was honestly a bit terrifying being that far from civilisation.
We continued deeper into the building and reached an open area that was covered by scrolls and weapons.
I was looking around at all the techniques, really excited, there's no way I could've possibly have gotten my hands on these techniques! Hehehehe
"Naruto, make 800 shadow clones." I blinked before doing so, the clones filling the open area.
"What will we be doing, sensei?" He smirked, "You, my boy, need knowledge, I will mold you into the perfect ninja." He then unsealed hundreds of books, which I'm gonna have to read along with my clones….fuck it, readings cool anyway.

Sasuke POV:
The academy was boring as usual. The two banshees were screaming like always, the entire was also their usual rowdy.
Iruka-sensei then walked into the classroom, he shouted at the entire class to quiet them down. I was actually curious about something, I held my hand up as Iruka-sensei walked to his table.
"Yes Sasuke? Something bothering you?"
"Where's Naruto, Iruka-sensei? He hasn't been in class for days, he's not the type to skip school for so long."
"Why do you care about Sasuke, he doesn't matter." Sakura rolled her eyes, but I just ignored her.
"Shut up, Sakura, Naruto matters way more than you ever will." Ino snapped at her with a glare before Iruka-sensei slammed his hand onto his table to shut them up.
"Ino, Sakura! We don't need secondary commentary." He sighs, "Sasuke, he apparently graduated early according to Lord hokage." Wait, what?! That can't be true! The rest of the class didn't seem surprised, did they really expect-no, I was being stupid. Blondie has always been strong, I shouldn't have underestimated him.
Ts:After class
Once class was finished, I made my way to the hyuga,I needed to speak to her, she was closest to him, which irked me a bit….what am I thinking? Ugh!
"Hyuga, You're close with blondie aren't you? Why did he decide to graduate early?"
"Oh, Sasuke, well, told me that he felt that the academy was a bit too slow for him."
"That so? Thanks, I guess." I turned to leave before I peeked at her over my shoulder. "Hey, are you and him dating?"
She blushed and rapidly shook her hands, "N-no, we're just friends, good friends, but just friends." She tapped her fingers against each other, "I wish we were more, though." She muttered quietly, "I see." I left feeling a bit lighter.

Hiruzen POV:
I took a small sip from my coffee as I stared at my old friend across myself, "So, how has Naruto been?" Danzo raised an eyebrow with a small smirk, Naruto must've truly impressed him "He's been, simply put, amazing. He has all the makings to be the perfect ninja. And…I won't be using my usual methods on him, I can't promise to go easy on him." I couldn't help myself as a small grin spread across my face,"You like him, don't you? The Danzo Shimura is fond of someone." This was the first time in years that my friend has felt….human to me.

Naruto POV:
I jumped over a sweep thrown by my clone, I jumped over it before jumping back and feinting a jab and throwing a roundhouse, dispelling the clone. I was panting, Danzo made me read for hours and then made me face all the clones which read with me.
I fell on my back and closed my eyes before I felt myself lying on someone's lap, I opened my eyes to look at the smiling face of Bura.
"Hi." She began playing with my hair,"Hello Naru-chan~" she planted a kiss on my forehead. "You're putting in so much effort, it's really admirable."
"Stop babying him" barked Kurama , I lazily lifted a hand and pointed at him, "Shut up you fat piece of fur."
Bura began giggling, "Now, now, boys, quiet down. I have some good news to share with Naru."
I sat up interested,"You've got my attention, Bura. Talk to me."
"Well~Naru-chan, you're getting really close to learning my true name, I can't wait!"
"Wait actually? Awesome." A grin spread across my face,"Aww! You're so adorable, Naru!" I found myself forced into her hug.

3rd POV:
The camera pans out to Kurama with his fist clenched, "Let go of him! My host won't be soft and babied! He'll be intimidating, you hear me!"

Sasuke POV:
I was lying in bed, having just cleaned myself after training, my thoughts drifted to Naruto. He was an…enigma, an anomaly. The way he moves through the world is different compared to everyone else. It was frustrating, seeing how he operated in a different dimension compared to others just like….just like Itachi, but Naruto feels less…robotic, Itachi was way too stoic and always felt of. Ugh, why won't that stupid blonde get out of my head?!

3rd POV:
That night, Naruto tested the limits of his mindscape and was able to spend the entire night messing around with Kurama and Bura, while Sasuke was tossing and turning all throughout the night as the thought of Naruto plagued them like a disease.
(Hi, I just wanna admit that I have a newfound respect for authors who can write over 1000 words easily. Just 1600 words took me 3 hours. Btw, it seems Sasuke is in love with Naruto, is he gay?
