A few days later,
Time had passed, and Viserys and Dany were going to reach Pentos in a day.
Viserys was now sitting on the edge of the bed, one hand gripping his knee while the other clutched his stomach.
His white skin grew even paler, while dark circles brewed under his twitching violet eyes.
Beside him was his sister, her little body trembling furiously as she pressed both her hands against her mouth, her innocent eyes watering.
"Pfft—-!"
"Ugh," Viserys grumbled, his brows creasing in irritation, and that was it, the princess couldn't hold back anymore, "Hahaha!"
Her bell-like laughter echoed in the damp room as Viserys glared at his sister, a slight redness creeping up on his cheeks in embarrassment.
"Haaah," she took a breath, gasping for air, "Haha! Brother, you've warned me – pfft! – so much! Haha! Yet! Look at yourself! Hahaha!"
She couldn't control herself and broke out in laughter once again, rolling on the bed, which caused Viserys to click his tongue in annoyance.
At the start of their journey, Viserys warned, "Dany, you shouldn't eat much or eat something that's given by sailors without my approval; you might get seasick!"
Dany did as he was told, and she was fine…but he wasn't.
He practically puked his guts out; it became almost as if he was going to die.
During the first two days, Dany was so worried that something might happen to her brother, but after he recovered, she began to tease him endlessly.
"Ugh, can you stop?" Viserys exclaimed, his face twisting.
"Hahaha!" But this made the princess laugh even harder.
This continued for almost an hour before Dany controlled herself, and Viserys too had let her laugh, thinking, 'It's good that she's laughing; it means she's slowly forgetting about his death!'
Now the siblings are sitting on top of the bed, facing each other. "Dany, listen to me carefully," Viserys said with a serious face.
"Mhmm!" Dany hummed, nodding her head; she understood her brother was going to tell her something important.
"After we reach Pentos, we will be received by a man named Illyrio, a fat man!" Viserys said, pressing on the words, fat man.
"He will take us to his home, but we will leave in a day or two," he added.
"Why?" Dany asked, tilting her head.
"Because we are going to take the dragon eggs from that man!"
"That man has our eggs?" Dany exclaimed, her eyes widening in shock.
"Yes! He has our eggs! All dragon eggs belong to the Targaryens, but he hid them from us, so we are going to take them back and leave after!"
Dany went silent for a moment; she thought about her brother's words, 'He hid the dragon eggs from us? He's a bad man!' she commented inwardly, clenching her fists.
She then turned to her brother, "Yes!" She agreed.
"Good," Viserys said before he ruffled her hair with a smile on his face.
The siblings then talked about various things, with mostly Dany dreaming about what she would do with the dragons after she had hatched them.
"Brother," Dany called, turning toward him. They were currently lying on their bed with Dany in Viserys arms.
"Hmm?" Viserys mumbled, looking back at her.
"Do you think our dragons will grow as big as Balerion?" she asked, her voice eager.
Viserys took a moment, thinking about it, 'Dragons are said to grow as long as they are free and are not caged.'
"Sure," he whispered in her ear, "our dragons will grow as big, if not bigger than Balerion!"
"Really?!" Dany exclaimed, surprised by her brother's words.
CHUCKLE
"Yes, really," Viserys replied with a chuckle.
"Hehe," Dany giggled, moving closer to her brother, "Can you tell me a story, brother?"
"What story do you want me to tell?" Viserys asked in reply.
"Hmm," Dany thought for a moment, thinking about what she wanted to hear before she said, "Tell me the story of Aegon!"
"Haha, alright," Viserys chuckled, nodding his head, "Aegon and his sister-wives decided to conquer Westeros….." He began narrating the story.
Dany listened intently, her eyes glued to her brother's face as she imagined them both riding a dragon each and reconsidering Westeros, like Aegon did.
But soon, she found her eyelids getting heavier and heavier, and it was becoming harder to listen to her brother, 'No, I want to listen…'
But she couldn't fight her sleep, and soon fell asleep.
"And then—" Viserys stopped narrating, noticing that his sister had fallen asleep.
"Sweet dreams, little sister," Viserys whispered, kissing her sister on the forehead before he too fell asleep.
The next day,
"Your Grace, my name is Illyrio Mopatis, a humble Magister of Pentos."
