The next morning, I found Mazao and Zhu Shi in a park near Saltwater City University.
Both of them had participated in the funeral ceremony yesterday, though only briefly, unlike many demon hunters who intended to participate for three days and nights. In fact, there is no stringent rule forcing all demon hunters to attend the funeral for Impermanence; it's just a cultural atmosphere that makes quitting midway somewhat frowned upon. Fortunately, for non-headquarters demon hunters like them who are also my close acquaintances, there's much more flexibility.
