However, when viewing the Four Symbols system through the self-regenerating cycle of the Five Elements system, one will notice a glaring issue: the Earth element in the Five Elements doesn't have a corresponding divine beast in the Four Symbols.
Ancient people naturally noticed this evident issue. Therefore, after combining the Four Symbols system and the Five Elements system, the Five Directions system emerged, and the missing Earth was endowed with a corresponding divine beast, the "Yellow Dragon."
