Chapter 542 - Chapter 542: Damn, He Showed Off Again!

The three days on the yacht were wild, to say the least.

On the first day, Matt Damon, Nicholson, and Leonardo all submitted themselves to Martin, earning themselves beautiful women as rewards.

On the second day, Nicholson tried to overthrow Martin's reign, only to be ratted out by Matt Damon and punished severely.

Yes, the punishment was—being completely drained.

By the third day, Nicholson couldn't even get off the boat. Still defiant, he shouted, "Come on! Keep punishing me if you've got the guts!"

Martin actually thought about it for a moment but eventually decided to let the old man live, denying him another blissful demise mid-climax.

That day, Matt Damon, having exposed Nicholson, tried to use the trust Martin had in him to slip him a little blue pill.

Martin caught him.

And he received the same punishment: being drained dry.

Only the most loyal subject, Leonardo, made it to the end. To reward his loyalty, His Majesty Martin graciously gifted him—ten stunning babes!

So yes, Leonardo was also drained dry in the end.

By the time the yacht party ended on the evening of the third day, Martin was the only one still standing tall and energized.

Even though those gorgeous women's ultimate goal was to drain him…

In the end, they were all conquered one by one by Martin.

The women were reluctant to part with the four men.

No—more accurately:

They were reluctant to part with Martin.

As for Leonardo, Nicholson, and Matt Damon—well, they got their goodbyes too.

Sitting in the car, Nicholson, who had rested the entire previous day and recovered a little, said:

"Fuck, that was the craziest party I've ever been to. I actually became Martin's subject—and got executed for rebellion!"

At the word execution, Nicholson instinctively winced from the ache in his back.

He glared at Matt Damon and snapped, "Fuck you, you little bastard, you betrayed me!"

Matt Damon grumbled, "Come on, wasn't that part of the plan? I betray you to gain Martin's trust, then drug him!"

"But you failed! Useless piece of crap! You probably didn't control your expression well or didn't crush the pill enough…" Nicholson ranted furiously.

Leonardo rubbed his lower back and said, "Next time, I want to be the king!"

Martin chuckled. "If you're willing to be my son, I'll pass the throne to you!"

"In your dreams!" Leonardo rolled his eyes. "Next time, I'll throw the party. I'll be the king!"

Martin stroked his chin. "Hmm, sounds good to me."

In his head, he was already planning a little coup of his own.

After the three-day break, the bond between the four had clearly grown stronger.

Leonardo and Matt Damon slept like babies that night—close their eyes, open them again, and it was morning.

Turns out, moderate exercise really does help with sleep.

As for Nicholson, "unconscious" was probably a better word than "asleep."

But since he had passed out several times on the yacht, he was used to it by now.

So—no problem!!!

The next day, on set.

Martin had a scene with Nicholson.

Scorsese noticed Nicholson's energy wasn't quite there. He paused the shoot a few times, but Nicholson just couldn't get into character.

Martin, on the other hand, was full of energy—delivering a performance that absolutely dazzled.

"Jack, what's going on? Don't waste Martin's momentum!"

Nicholson couldn't help muttering, "That guy's a machine. Fuck, am I really getting old?!"

"Give me a few minutes."

He walked over to his trailer, opened the door, and went inside. A short while later, he came back out.

"I'm good now," he told Scorsese.

Martin could smell the strong scent of alcohol on him.

Relying on booze to stir up emotion?

Martin wasn't surprised. Plenty of actors in Hollywood pulled this stunt—like Marlon Brando and Al Pacino.

And it worked. The next take went off without a hitch.

"Old man, already losing steam?" Martin teased Nicholson after the shoot.

Nicholson snorted, didn't respond, and suddenly said, "Kid, drinks are on me tonight."

Martin blinked. "I don't drink."

"Not going out. Just in my trailer."

Martin eyed him suspiciously. "What's your angle, old man?"

Heh heh heh!

Nicholson grinned sycophantically. "Martin… how the hell do you manage to wrap things up with a chick in just a few minutes?"

Ah—Martin got it now. He shook his head and said, "So it's about that. You can't learn this—it's a gift, man!"

Leonardo and Matt Damon, who had wandered over, both looked incredibly disappointed.

"Bullshit gift," Leonardo muttered.

Martin basked in the glory of showing off again.

Nicholson, Leonardo, and Matt Damon were all a little bitter.

Especially Nicholson—he was once proud of being the ultimate playboy, but even in that department, he had to admit defeat to Martin!

The morning shoot went smoothly.

Thanks to the alcohol, Nicholson's performance improved and didn't hold anyone back.

During the lunch break, the four of them gathered under the awning outside Martin's trailer to eat.

Matt Damon noticed the envious stares of people passing by and felt a little smug. Not everyone had the privilege of dining with a big shot like Martin. You had to either be on his level or someone he personally approved of.

Matt Damon, having "been through the war" with Martin, confidently considered himself the latter.

Nicholson pulled a beer from Martin's trailer fridge, popped it open, and placed it on the table. He casually grabbed a newspaper from who knows where and started flipping through it.

He skimmed through the politics section, then sports, and finally the entertainment section. After a quick glance, he suddenly burst out laughing mischievously.

"HAHAHA! Leo, listen to this headline: 'Recently, our reporter spotted supermodel Gisele Bündchen, ex-girlfriend of Leonardo DiCaprio, on a romantic date with New England Patriots' superstar quarterback, the one and only Tom Brady. Our paparazzi even caught the two sharing a passionate kiss in Brady's car. It seems Gisele has moved on with a new love…'"

As Nicholson read the article, Martin caught a flicker of gloom in Leonardo's eyes before he masked it with a look of indifference.

Martin knew full well that Leo had genuinely loved Gisele. They had even talked about marriage. But Leo's inability to resist temptation eventually cost him the relationship. They parted ways quietly and with regret.

Sure, he dated plenty of women after that, but Gisele always had a special place in his heart. Still, there was no going back now.

Martin didn't say anything. He just clinked glasses with Leonardo, then turned to tease Nicholson:

"Hey, Jack, you're totally out of date. These days, who doesn't have a few ex-girlfriends—besides me?"

Nicholson stared. "Wait, why don't you have any ex-girlfriends? You don't seem like the loyal type."

Martin grinned, "Because none of my women ever leave me. You couldn't even imagine the size of my harem!"

Damn it, he showed off again!

Nicholson was depressed.

And he couldn't help but picture those women lining up on the yacht again…
