Chapter 333 - Chapter 333 kl'rt Gives Up Struggling!

"It my turn?"

kl'rt expression was ferocious.

It was no secret that he had long harbored resentment toward Superman.

More importantly, he was nothing like the Super Skrulls that Superman had previously eliminated.

kl'rt was not only the leader of the Skrulls but also the universally acknowledged strongest warrior among them.

Even without the power that surpassed Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers, he was still the most formidable Skrull warrior.

Of course, the strength Superman displayed at this moment exceeded everyone expectations—including kl'rt.

He was shocked, but that didn't mean he would simply submit and admit defeat.

Even if he couldn't win, he still had a chance to escape, right?

...

"Don't think that killing them will make me afraid."

kl'rt clenched his fists, his fierce aura surging outward.

The terrifying energy radiating from his body stirred up violent air currents, accompanied by golden waves of light spreading across the sky like a vast tide.

"Indeed, Superman, I admit you are powerful, and I cannot stop you from killing them one by one!"

"But if you think you can take me down easily, then you're wrong!"

"Hugely wrong!"

His deep voice reached Superman ears.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Thunderous tremors erupted.

In the deep blue sky, turbulent air currents roared in reverse, whipping up a storm like wild claws tearing at the heavens.

The gale unleashed an ear-piercing howling sound, like countless bolts of lightning roaring within storm clouds, throwing the entire city into chaos.

On the rooftop.

This sudden storm felt like a resounding slap across the faces of the Justice League members.

Seeing the brief standoff between kl'rt and Superman, their expressions shifted slightly, revealing a hint of solemnity.

Clearly, even they hadn't expected kl'rt to display such power.

This formidable Super Skrull leader seemed capable of going toe-to-toe with Superman.

And it wasn't just them.

The citizens of the city, as well as those watching the scene unfold through their screens, also felt that this Super Skrull leader must have some hidden power allowing him to stand against Superman.

However—

They soon realized they were wrong.

Just as kl'rt himself had said—

They were completely wrong.

kl'rt finished his furious roar and was just about to make a move when his vision suddenly blurred for a moment.

Whoosh!

A shockwave burst behind Superman as he accelerated, instantly surpassing the speed of sound.

Like a flash of lightning, he closed the distance in an instant, his fist—large as an iron cauldron—slamming into the left side of kl'rt face.

He struck.

But Superman didn't use any special abilities. Instead, he relied purely on his physical strength, intending to overwhelm kl'rt with brute force—just to show him the vast difference between them.

Boom!

kl'rt mind caught up with reality.

Just like before—

He saw Superman figure blur and knew he was being attacked, yet he couldn't control his body to react in time. His mind and body were out of sync.

Simply put, he was too slow.

BOOM!!

An unprecedented, overwhelming force landed on kl'rt face.

In the very next second, his body was flipped upside down, plummeting like a meteor. He crashed into the ground with terrifying force.

Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack!

The impact shook the earth like a natural disaster. A massive crater, resembling the aftermath of a meteor strike, formed in the ground, sending a chill through the hearts of those who witnessed it.

The sheer force of the collision left the ground riddled with countless cracks.

Deep fissures spread across the crater, stretching along the streets and even reaching the foundations of nearby buildings.

The structures trembled ominously, as if on the verge of collapse.

But at this moment, no one was paying attention to the collateral damage.

All eyes were locked on Superman.

Whoosh!

Descending from the sky, Superman landed at the very center of the crater—where kl'rt had fallen.

At this point, kl'rt was staggering to his feet, his golden hair now soaked in blood.

Having endured Superman punch, he was drenched in blood and looked utterly wretched.

Staring at the face that should have belonged to Carol Danvers, Superman remained expressionless.

"You have a lot of confidence in Carol Danvers," he said coldly.

"You think that because Carol Danvers is one of the few true powerhouses in this universe, possessing her abilities would allow you to dominate Earth..."

"But you're wrong."

"I am stronger than her."

Superman spoke calmly.

Then, he moved again.

kl'rt couldn't even perceive his motion, let alone react.

BANG!

Superman delivered an upward kick.

The force of the kick sent kl'rt hurtling into the sky.

Whoosh!

In an instant, Superman took off like a rocket, soaring after him.

Reaching kl'rt—whose body was still being propelled upward by the force of the previous attack—Superman matched his motion, appearing to hover motionless in front of him.

Then, he punched again.

"Pfft!"

Blood sprayed from kl'rt mouth as the impact sent him crashing back down—into the very same crater he had just been blasted into moments ago.

His body trembled, his consciousness wavering.

After just a brief exchange, he had come to terms with reality.

He wasn't just no match for Superman—

Against Superman, he couldn't even run.

"Cough! Cough! Cough!"

kl'rt coughed violently.

He could feel it—his internal organs had been shattered under Superman relentless assault.

His stamina and life force were draining rapidly.

Even the energy he could summon was fading as his vitality dwindled.

"I lost?"

kl'rt looked up at the sky, staring at Superman, who hovered above him, looking down with an unshakable presence.

Suddenly, a bitter smile appeared on his face.

He had spent years infiltrating Earth, meticulously preparing every step, convinced that his plan was foolproof.

Yet now, he had fallen at the hands of someone he had never even considered a threat—someone who had never appeared before.

"Batman... Superman..."

As the names of the two key figures who had led to his downfall crossed his mind, kl'rt spread his arms, lying flat in the crater.

His eyes lost focus, his pupils gradually dimming.

There was no hatred.

It all felt inevitable.

He gave up struggling.

Just like his Super Skrull subordinates before him—when they had abandoned resistance and chosen to flee.

Only after facing Superman himself did he finally understand the despair his comrades had felt.

A mountain too vast to ever climb.

Superman.

That such a man would appear on Earth—on this remote little planet—

Who could have predicted it?

Just like how kl'rt had never imagined that Earth would give birth to someone like Carol Danvers, a Captain Marvel powerful enough to drive back the Kree Empire forces.

"It over."

Superman listened as kl'rt heartbeat came to a halt. His body reverted to his natural Skrull form, his green skin marking his true identity. He was dead.

At that moment, the entire city erupted into cheers.

"Superman!"

"The god among men!"

Aside from the destruction of two streets due to the battle—and some cracks extending to the lower sections of nearby skyscrapers—there had been no further damage.

It was nothing short of a miracle.

"Superman!"

With all eyes on him, Superman ignored kl'rt lifeless body.

Instead, he rose into the air and flew toward a rooftop—where the Justice League members stood, having witnessed the entire battle, still in stunned silence.

He greeted them with a smile.

"Hello."

Then, with a casual grin, he added, "I assume that bat has already introduced me."
