Her words trailed off into furious, incoherent yelling as the officers began leading her away.
"Seems like the crazy runs deep in that family," Officer B commented.
Lucas glanced at Gianna with a hint of sympathy. "Has she always been like this?"
Gianna refreshed her memory and remained silent for a while.
They were probably worse.
The original owner was treated like a slave by them. She had a particular day of the week when she would go to his place and do his laundry for him.
She was such a simp for him.
Women as patient as her were already rare. Unfortunately, Kaye and his mother took her for granted.
Gianna let out a weary sigh. "I didn't expect this either."
They were crazier than they seemed.
Extremely unreasonable.
"You did well holding your ground," Officer B said as he prepared to leave. "If she gives you any more trouble, don't hesitate to call us. And as for Kaye, he'll face the consequences of his actions soon enough."
