Liora leaned back, smirking.
"The weakness that I know is simple…"
She paused for a moment.
She wanted to make sure that everyone was listening to her words.
Then—
"Titanhoof is the king of warhorses and you, Lord Varen, claimed the same."
The crowd nodded.
Liora's eyes gleamed.
"But have you considered what happens to the buyer?"
Murmurs began to spread through the hall.
Liora continued sharply.
"Being the king of warhorses means it will only recognize a rider worthy of it."
She crossed her arms.
"So what does that mean for the buyer? After purchasing it, they will still have to earn its respect and recognition before they can even ride it."
She paused, letting the audience think for a moment.
"And if they fail to do so? Then what? It refuses to be tamed? It rejects its owner? What do you say about this, Lord Varen?"
The crowd murmured again, some of them seemed to be uncertain about the purchase.
