The trio made their way to the bulletproof limo and within minutes, the sounds of blaring sirens announced their departure.
After almost forty minutes of driving, Amelia's heart started hammering widely in her chest as the car finally came to a halt. She looked out through the side window only to discover that they were packed outside the highly fortified prison facility.
The entire premises was covered in a blanket of white snow, except for the dominant tall grey building.
Amelia watched as Captain Israel, who was on board one of the SUVs in front, climbed out of the car. He briskly made his way towards the gate where a uniformed guard was already waiting.
"Wow, the security system here is intense. I bet there a lot of hardened criminals kept behind those iron gates." Amelia noted in a quivering voice as she tried to remain calm even though she was a complete wreck within.
