The atmosphere changed. The cavern trembled.
Buji and the Skeleton General were facing themselves, engrossed in a unseen battle as the light of their movement switched each nanoseconds.
Both of them were too fast, as the only sound heard was the 'clank' of the General's axe blade against Buji's twin whip blade.
They separated from themselves, each of them skidding backward.
A moment of silence.
Then—
BOOM!
The General charged again, its war axe pulsating with dark crimson fire. The force that emanated from its movement shattered the floor he trampled on, sending debris flying in all directions as he dashed.
Buji reacted too. He activated his Phantom Step skill, and while his body blurred, he moved faster than any eye could follow.
Skillfully, he sidestepped on reaching the spot where the General's axe cleaved downward, flipping backwards with his cord flinging to wrap the General's arm. With a forceful pull, he attempted to disrupt its stance.
