Viella, Alastor, and Marie watched as Caspian drank the potion, half-holding their breath as he set the glass down, waiting for what would happen next.
"How are you feeling?" Viella asked, looking at his broken arm with some expectancy. But it seemed this potion was not the same as the previous one.
She noticed sweat beginning to form on his forehead as he gripped his upper arm, as if trying to stop the pain.
"What's wrong, Caspian? Can you say something?" Alastor asked, leaning in to take a better look. Viella could not deny that Caspian looked as if he were about to throw up.
"I feel the potion working. It's... it's painful," Caspian explained, gritting his teeth and looking away from his arm.
Viella felt some relief knowing it was working, but she hated seeing him in pain. She placed a hand on his forehead. "He's burning."
Marie stood by helplessly, eyeing the whole situation before asking, "Should I call for someone?"
