#VEGITO POV#
I dodge one of Goku's swipes with ease as he sends a kick at me in Super Saiyan 3
I send a weak punch to his chest and he is sent flying away
He manages to stop himself before rushing at me again
(So slow) I think to myself as I catch his raised fist with my left hand
I throw him to the side without any real issue
"This isn't working out," I say with a sigh while Goku comes closer to me while returning to his base form
"Yeah, you are too fast for me," He agrees with a frown on his face
I look at my right hand and clench it into a fist as I think about the ramifications of my new level of power and some of the consequences around my 'rebirth'
I am too strong and I have no one I can test my new limits with
A frown spreads across my face as another realization hits rather hard
I don't understand Ki as well as I thought I did
Due to inheriting Goku and Vegeta's memories, and obtaining this new body of mine
I may have gotten several misconceptions about Ki in general
Several of them came about due to my Saiyan nature
Saiyans are able to naturally utilize Ki alongside some other races in the universe
But most races don't have the same advantage
Like humans
Humans have to train for years in order to use Ki in any meaningful capacity
They have to push themselves to become superhuman first before being able to use the very basics of Ki
Saiyans are born with physical capabilities that far out outstrip all if not most humans
They can naturally use Ki since fucking childhood while humans have to train for decades
That is the very reason why I am struggling to catch up with the others
For fucks sake, I am fucking Vegito
Sure, I am a clone of Goku and Vegeta primarily, but my body is different then both of them, yet filled with more potential than them
But that potential doesn't only stretch to my Ultimate form, but also to my Great Ape form and the transformation derived from it
Such as my now-lost Savage form
Every time I want to access it, a tremendous rage tries to take over me and fills my body with pain
I don't really know why, it changed so much, but the fact remains that I seem to have been stuck with what I can only assume to be the Ikari form that Broly uses
Yet, I gained the Savage Form with my 'mastery' of the Great Ape form
Now, I am back to square one
Still...the fact that when Old Kai said that he would unlock all of my potential or at least as much of it as he could he meant it
I frown as I think about what he said about unlocking it this way
The ritual can never be performed on me without at least experiencing some backlash unless Old Kai improves the ritual to work even better than before as he didn't manage to unlock all of my potential
He said that he brought out a lot but, I am not exactly sure how much is still left
"Are you going to get the ritual performed on you?" I ask Goku as I know that he still has some reservations about it
He takes in a deep breath
"Honestly, yeah, from what I've seen, it is something I am going to need if I want to make sure that Babidi is dealt with soon," He tells me and I can't help but let out a sigh of relief
Goku getting his potential unlocked is something that will benefit the entire universe a lot
Even more when he obtains Super Saiyan 4
Which I know he will
He has already managed to stay conscious once he de-transforms from a Great Ape back into his base form
Although he does still rampage around, he is improving
"How long do you think Old Kai will be knocked out for?" I hear Goku ask and I let out a sigh
The ritual took a lot more out of him than we realized
Old Kai has been sleeping for the past 4 days
Thankfully, Shin has been monitoring him to make sure nothing bad happens
"I am not sure, he looked exhausted almost dead when he went to sleep, so I am going to say at least a few days more," I answer him before I smile
"In the meantime, how about I help you with Oozaru," I offer him and he nods with a small smile
We fly down to the ground
I create an artificial moon that will last for at least 10 minutes
"Now," I tell Goku as we both look up at the artificial moon and I am surprised by what I feel
"Well...that's interesting," I note as I can now decide if I want to go Great Ape or not
Even if I am looking at the artificial moon, I can hold back the transformation
I let myself transform and I am surprised at the fact that I no longer feel any pain at all
Before, I would feel like someone used a syringe on my butt but now I don't even feel that
As I transformed, I feel...alright
I don't even notice when I finish transforming but once I do, I feel like I can breathe for the first time in my life
I am taken a back as a punch lands on my face
"Seriously, not cool," I tell Goku as punch him away
As he goes flying he roars letting out flames from his own mouth
Huh, I forgot we can do that
Sweet
I open my mouth and retaliate with my own flames
This is actually really fun...
#TIMESKIP 2 DAYS LATER#
I fall on my back as Goku and I go back to our base forms
He is barely standing while I just take in the sudden change in stride as it is easy for me to use the form
Goku takes in big gulps of air while I sense the fluctuations around us
We caused quite a bit of damage to this place
Once Goku starts getting his potential unlocked, I am going to be returning back to Earth and Gohan is going to be brought here by Kibito
In the meantime, I am going to be spending my time helping out on Earth and try to relax a bit
I fly over to where Old Kai and Shin are
Goku followed close behind me albeit slowly due to him being rather tired
"Oh good you are here, give me a few hours so that I can look over the ritual circle and redraw parts of it," Old Kai says standing up from the ground
He leans backward and his back lets out a rather concerning amount of pops as he cracks his back
I wince at the rather sound noise as I can't help but compare to when Vegeta would get bored killing hundreds of people and began comparing spines
Yeah...I think I need to suppress those memories a bit more...
