"This feels incredible," I say taking a deep breath
I am so much stronger now
"Wow," I hear a voice to the side and turn to look at the person who spoke
"You are as strong as I am when I used Kaio-Ken times 2 while in Super Saiyan 3," Goku says as he starts walking around me after waking up from practicing in his Great Ape Form
"And you are not even in Super Saiyan,"
"Can I still go Super Saiyan?" I ask out loud as I try to go Super Saiyan but the only thing that ends up happening is that I just power up
"I tried to go Super Saiyan but..." I stop as I try to recall that feeling
"You don't need to transform," I hear Old Kai say as I turn to him
"What do you mean?"
"What did you think the ritual did? It brought out your potential to the surface. So, instead of powering up through the transformations, their power is now just yours," He says as I realize exactly what he means that I don't need to go Super Saiyan anymore
"My body is already using the power brought about from the transformation without actually transforming," I say as I get the gist
Holy shit
No wonder Gohan didn't need to transform
I mean I am pretty sure, I can transform if I really tried hard enough, but the only thing that would happen is that my power may not increase much and would instead just burn off Ki...
"What's wrong?" Old Kai asks as I close my eyes and search for another power within me
The Power Of A Great Ape
I open my eyes and I let out a roar as I transform into my Ape/Savage Form
My body increases in size and my hair gets longer
My power swells as something in me seems to awaken
"KNOCK HIM THE FUCK OUT!!!" I hear someone scream as I look down to see that I am holding Old Kai by the neck only for an orange blur to come across my vision and quickly take out of my grasp
I grasp at my head as I scream out and my vision darkens and just before I lose consciousness
Rage
Nothing but unyielding rage
My vision is tinted red as I can feel the circulation of my blood around my body
Only to gasp out an fall to the ground
As I fall, I barely notice the green aura around me disappearing...
#GOKU POV#
"That was a close one," I say wiping the sweat off my brow as I fall down to my back
I take in big gulps of air as the strain of transforming Super Saiyan 3 and using Kaio-Ken times 10 right after waking from trying to get control of my Great Ape form hits me all at once
I almost pass out
Concentrating all of my power into a single point to knock out Vegito in one precise moment
"Can't feel my right arm," I whisper with my lungs burning while some blood drips from my eyes
"You have my thanks," Says the Old Kai as he rises to his feet slowly and comes over to me
"You are not looking so good," As he arrives near me
"Here," He says raising his hand and a small green ball appears on the palm of his hand and floats over to me
I take in a deep breath as I can feel my bones start to mend themselves as the ball releases a green light that passes over my body numerous times
I relax as warmth spreads across my entire body
Like being on my bed under the covers while it is very cold outside
I sit up after a few minutes groaning as I am still really hurt
"Say...you wouldn't happen to know what that was?" He asks me as we walk over to where Vegito fell to the ground
"That...was the compressed Great Ape form," I answer him while narrowing my eyes
His power...he became weaker when he was transforming until the transformation was about to finish then...his power began to increase massively
Far above any, he has shown to me before
"Compressed what?"
"We can transform into giant ape forms, what Vegito tried to do was use the same form that he discovered by compressing it into a humanoid form," I briefly explain as something is bugging me
That green aura...why did it feel so familiar...
"That energy...it was incredibly chaotic," Old Kai comments taking me out of my thoughts
I watch as he walks around Vegito's body with several circles of what I am assuming to be magic in nature hovering around him
"That energy seems to be gone now, almost like it was never there," He whispers taking notes of what happened
I scratch the back of my neck as I do my best to try and remember when I could have felt a similar Ki only to come up empty...But I will definitely keep an eye on what happened to Vegito
His power increased a lot when he nearly finished transforming...
#VEGITO POV#
I groan as I try to sit up only to gasp as pain wracks my body as I try to move
It feels like my body has turned into a nerve that has been exposed and is being hit by the gentle wind
(It feels like the wind itself is cutting my body into pieces)
Closing my eyes, I do my best to circulate my Ki around my body and I almost gasp in relief as it feels like I just put a blanket over myself to protect against the wind
"Don't move too much," I hear Old Kai's voice
I don't open my eyes as I know that if I open it, I will lose concentration
"Here, this will help," I hear him say and I hold my breath as warmth spreads throughout my body
As I relaxed, I remembered the green Ki steak disappearing as I passed out...
I shake my head lightly as I try to take a deep breath
Did I really see that streak of energy?
After a few minutes, I stand up slowly
"How do you feel?" Goku asks me as he watches me move
"I feel better now...but I don't know what happened to me. I tried to transform into my Savage form, but...that happened," I tell him as I try to remember
I only feel the transformation inside me and I wince at the chaotic and erratic energy
That takes me aback
It's so different from my normal Ki, but one thing is clear as I get the image of the energy in my head
Legendary Ki
How???
How do I have that Ki?
Old Kai only unlocked my...potential
My eyes widen as realization hits me in the face
In the manga, Legendary Ki is formed by 2 things
The Power Of A Great Ape and that of a Super Saiyan
The Ape/Savage form is a compressed form of the Great Ape
Could Old Kai also have unlocked the potential of that form
If so, am I a Legendary Super Saiyan...
