Quickly retreating to avoid getting in the middle of its anger tantrum, with light steps, he landed close to Alice, who had just finished crushing the head of a zombie under her feet. "You made him mad." She said, punching him playfully. "That's good, own it." Feigning pain from the weak punch, he chuckled lightly, and watched carefully as the blood he avoided and some that had stained the ground was corroding the concrete slowly as smoke came out. Same thing was happening to his weapons but, it was less severe.
' I need new weapons fast.' He reminded himself again to get new ones as the blades of his current ones were getting blunter. He could tell because he had to put more effort in slicing throats.
But in this short moment that he and his sister had their little exchange, the fatso was regenerating at a speed visible to the naked eye. As his guts had stopped pouring out. Snapping out the pain it was feeling, it looked straight at Damien with eyes full of rage and malice. Although unlike other zombies, it could feel pain, the amount it felt was reduced by more than half of what an ordinary human felt.
Still glaring at Damien, it's throat which could barely be seen, had a large bulge on it and opening it's already rotting mouth, it spat out a well-aimed blob of green liquid. "Dodge!" He warned and they both skillfully jumped 5 m to the side and continued retreating further as they saw the blobs being splashed in all directions, corroding everything it touched. It seems that it was more potent than its blood when it came into it's corrosive ability.
The concrete and cars that were either crashed or packed to the side melted, as if hit by a highly corrosive acid. But, Damien did not show any fear. Even as the fatso aimed at him again, completely ignoring Alice, as it only so Damian as a threat.
Meanwhile, Oscar had already tried shooting an arrow or two at it. He realized that although it had pierced through the skin, they arrow seemed to be having trouble piercing through the muscles and fat. Even though it did, the arrows were quickly corroded by the fatso's blood so he gave up on the idea of attacking it more since he had a limited number of arrows. It was already stressful enough to retrieve the arrows after every kill, talk less of finding new arrows or making them. So instead, he helped by cleaning the rest of the zombies with his wife and daughter.
After dodging a few more corrosive spits, Damien finally figured out the time constraint between each spit. So, bending his body and rushing forward to decrease air resistancehe heard his mother's shout. "Speed Boost!" and a blinding white light covered him.
[ You have been blessed by Monika's 'Speed Boost' \(°o°)/. Speed increase by 15%. Time limit - 2 minutes. ]
He immediately felt the effect as he felt lighter and, with increased speed he dashed towards the fatso who kept spitting, but none of it's attacks hit Damien. "I have to finish this quickly or else more unwanted guests will arrive." He whispered to himself. "Cheetah Style!" His speed increased once again as he moved in an unpredictable pattern. "Grasshopper Style!" He leaped more than 3 m in one leap. "Elephant Style!" He threw his axe towards the fatso's head and it landed squarely on its mouth, tearing through even its teeth and gums. Causing it immense pain, which distracted it just enough for Damian to land on it's head and stab continuously with a cold expression on his face,as he watched the blood and brain matter continuously corrode his blade and make holes on his clothes. But, he didn't stop stabbing until the fatso fell to the ground lifeless. The reason why it didn't use its hands to swat Damien away, was that it was preoccupied in trying to remove the axe from its mouth, distracting it's already disturbed mind with immense pain and the moment Damian started stabbing it, it was already too late.
Landing on the ground softly, he ripped off his sleeve which hard tiny black holes in them, revealing his muscle packed arms. They weren't big but, they looked incredibly menacing like it could kill with a single punch. But, no one noticed that as they were preoccupied with their own matters as his family finished cleaning up the remaining zombies and when now extracting the 'Soul Stones'.
Meanwhile, with his is deadly looking arms, he ripped off a car door next to him and proceeded to smash the head of the fatso in search of one 'Soul Stone' in which he found presence of scattered green brain matter. To which he extracted using his torn off sleeves to prevent being hurt and possibly infected by the corrosive blood. He wiped the 'Soul Stone' and threw the already corroding fabric, and put the shining stone that was a bit larger than the others in his pocket.

Damien didn't notice day imperceptible ball of white light that emerged from the acid spitting fatso's headless body and merged with his body, increasing his strength further.
Surprisingly, it only took some hours for him to reach Level 7. But, he knew that the higher level, the more exp or experience points was required to step into the next level. Damien suspected that the so-called experience points were actually some kind of energy that was absorbed when a creature was killed into the creature responsible for the death of the other. 'So if I kill stronger ones, the power I get is more, right?' Damien speculated. But, even though this was just a hypothesis, his eyes sparkled as he had figured out a faster way to get stronger.
He didn't know just how right he was.
In his thoughtful state, Damien spotted an orange glow from the side of the already rotting and smelling dead fatso. But, with no particular change in expression, he braced through the smell and found the glow to be an orange crystal like ball, the size of a child's fist. It was when off an enchanting glow. So, he simply..... picked it up. No questions asked but, a screen appeared in front of him.

So, Yes or No?
Without hesitation, he clicked 'Yes' and with a blinding orange glow, the orange ball was replaced with the handle of a one meter two - edged black sword with green etchings. It gave us a menacing corrosive vibe, as he held the handle that was covered with a green cloth. This cloth was 10cm long while, the guard was black with a green stone in the middle and the blade itself was what held most of its length. Reaching his stomach and he was 6ft to 2inches in height.
He swung it around a few times feeling almost no air resistance. "Good sword." He commented.
