[You, along with players worldwide, will be sent into various worlds to become a player and earn rewards by completing various tasks.]

[Announcement: The elderly and young have been moved to a new world and are now very safe. You can bring closely related family members beside you once you believe you have enough strength.]

[Game Notice: All participating players will be randomly dispatched to different worlds to become a lord or a Free player, growing stronger through challenges and opportunities. But before that, you must first survive the challenges.]

[Game Notice: Strive to survive in the new world and become the strongest lord.]

[Note: Challenges have a certain degree of danger. If the territory falls and the lord does not die, they will automatically be converted to a free player, unable to regain their lord status.]

[The game guide has been sent to your player warehouse, please retrieve it yourself.]

"Ah, I've transmigrated…"

Bai Yi opened her eyes, looking at the gray sky, feeling neither sad nor ecstatic.

*She had just accepted reality and was ready to enjoy the life of a young lady, come on!*

*I was just speaking casually! How did it actually end up destroying the world?!*

*Great, now look what happened!*

Pop!

Gone!

"At least let me enjoy life a bit! Just a day would be fine! I just wanted to slack off!"

Bai Yi was overwhelmed, shouting to vent her emotions, feeling a bit mentally exhausted.

The earlier announcements were packed with information—

*What kind of God could "accidentally" manage to destroy the world like this?!*

Initially, when Bai Yi first saw it, she thought it was just an excuse, but the subsequent information made her start doubting.

*There might just be a possibility after all…*

"Sigh…"

*What else could be done?*

*Now that she was here, according to the announcements, it wasn't possible to go back, so she could only find a way to follow this so-called game, first setting up her territory, and finding a way to survive.*

Bai Yi still somewhat believed she had some gaming talent.

Coming to grips with reality, Bai Yi rolled over and sat up, her eyes meeting a pair that were staring intently at her.

Stare—

It was a giant crocodile about five or six meters long, its body covered in black, fearsome scales and exuding a foul stench. Its large mouth was slightly open, and it gazed fiercely at Bai Yi.

"...?!"

It took Bai Yi a full 3 seconds to realize what was happening.

*Had she really been in the presence of a crocodile for so long?!*

Swallowing hard, her saliva switching to manual mode due to nervousness, Bai Yi felt her mind go blank in fear.

*It seemed the crocodile didn't desire to attack just yet, and with its short legs, it should run slowly on land, so perhaps she could run away?*

Yes! Run!

Her body reacted before her brain could, pushing off the ground with both hands and springing up like a coil.

Bai Yi felt enormously grateful she wasn't wearing a more ladylike long skirt but rather a short skirt more convenient for movement!

She turned, took off, and sprinted!

Bai Yi thought this was the fastest she had ever run, even faster than during her past physical exams!

But almost immediately, her heart filled with endless regret because there was another monster ahead of her, a Big Cat nearly her height, glaring fiercely at her.

*It's over...*

Her momentum was too strong to stop now, and the hope kindled by her speed had all turned into despair.

Squish

Even though Bai Yi weighed only over forty kilograms, the sudden impact at this speed startled the big cat, causing its body to sway.

Out of long-ingrained reflexes, it instinctively swatted a paw out at the "empty air" ahead.

However, Bai Yi had no mind to observe the Big Cat's expression—watching its five-fingered paw on the verge of hitting her side, her heart raced as if to jump out of her throat, seemingly thinking this might allow her to evade the deadly strike!

*Such sharp claws; if it came down, a swipe could rip open her belly…*

*Getting taken out right after transmigrating, she was probably the weakest among this batch of lords…*

A series of thoughts flashed through her mind, and Bai Yi was ready to close her eyes and await death, but the searing pain she imagined did not appear.

The Big Cat's paw rested on Bai Yi's side and then stopped there, unable to advance further.

Bai Yi felt no pain at all, nor any sensation of force.

This unexpected situation wasn't within Bai Yi's expectations and evidently not the Big Cat's either—a moment of deadlock.

The giant crocodile behind didn't understand what happened; it only saw that the four-legged beast in front stopped its paw mid-air, recognizing a good chance!

Its four stout, small legs burst with a terrifying power, propelling its massive body forward, opening its massive jaws to swallow the big cat whole.

Bai Yi caught the crocodile's movement out of the corner of her eye, yet her brain was blank; luckily, her body reacted in time, rolling sideways.

With Bai Yi no longer in the middle, the clash between the two giants ignited instantly.

Picking herself up from the ground with some disarray, Bai Yi didn't even care about the dirt on her; she just scrambled to her feet and ran away with the quickest speed.

She didn't stop until the sounds of the monsters' fight grew faint and almost undetectable, gasping for breath.

"Huff, huff, huff…

*It felt like she'd run all the steps she was meant to take in this life, cough!*"

She let out a violent dry cough, tasted blood in her mouth, and Bai Yi struggled to swallow nonexistent saliva, propping herself up against a nearby large tree to compose her racing heart.

Bai Yi dared not sit down, fearing encountering danger again, so she leaned against the tree, the reason lost to fear now beginning to return.

Looking around, everything was already unfamiliar.

She was at the forest's edge, large, luxuriant unidentified trees stretching to a small mountain, and on the other side, an overgrown plain with a faint sound of water in the distance.

*Hah, having transmigrated, is there anywhere that isn't unfamiliar?*

She mocked herself, and the earlier experience left Bai Yi deeply scared.

"Were those mutant creatures from earlier? Is this the Mutated Ruins?"

The playful mood Bai Yi had vanished, and her heart was left with just one aim: survival.

Having been given a harsh welcome by this new world right after transmigrating, Bai Yi felt its deep malice, sensing danger everywhere.

*No, I must stay calm!*

*According to earlier prompts, I should have a panel and some kind of lord opportunity.*

The game mentioned in the announcement instantly became Bai Yi's sole hope!

Just as the thought formed, a semi-transparent panel appeared before her, glowing with a faint blue light, radiating a strong sci-fi aura:
