"It's not your fault," she assured him. "When I'm relaxed, my synthetic body gives off strong pheromones. They affect everyone differently. Sometimes it helps when I'm working. Judging by the bulge in your pants, I understand where your comment came from."
Ouch!! He knew he deserved that comment, but his boner wasn't his fault, or entirely due to her.
"I'm afraid that that wasn't caused by you," Gloria came to his rescue. "It seems to be a side effect of his healing earlier today."
"You mean something went wrong?" Lyden asked and clutched tighter at the golden statue. "Is he all right?"
