Drifting within the Thought Amber for too long had greatly affected Hallman's brain, causing him to forget many things.
But some things, he still remembered.
For instance, the day their Supreme Lord—Lyra—pleaded for their help.
A divine entity asking for help from its followers was unheard of, not only in the Church of Lyra but also in any other church, so much so that at first, Hallman thought the message he received was a mistake, until the Bishop of the Sky Tower, Oliver, convened him and four other Bishops, solemnly announcing the dire situation.
Lyra was in peril, and it was an unprecedented crisis—a newly born abomination was emerging from Lyra's very being and attempting to kill Lyra.
Upon receiving this news from Oliver, the rest of the Bishops fell into a prolonged Silence, but the shock on their faces said it all.
And they knew what Oliver said was true, for Lyra's pleas for help were becoming more urgent by the day.
