Kazuko finally arrived at the watch room as Dr Mayumi said, "You got me worried there for a sec, those were some slick moves"
"Really" Kazuko said as she scratched her head and smiled in embarrassment.
"If you need medical care, you can go to the..." Dr Mayumi said as Kazuko interrupted her and said, "I'm sorry but I have to see Yami's fight, hope you don't mind."
"It's no biggie, just make sure you don't push yourself too much, okay" Dr Mayumi said.
"Yes ma'am" Kazuko replied.
"Okay it's time for our last contestant to fight, come on Yami, let's go to your battle field" Gildart said excited and happily as they left that area.
While they were going, Kazuko went close to Yami as she took a deep breath and said, "I know I didn't buy you as much time as you need, but..."
"It's fine, besides, I'm glad you're alright, that's all that matters right now" Yami said as he smiled at her.
"Really" Kazuko asked being shocked by his words.
"Of course, you tried your best and I'm so proud of you for that, but you can drop the tough girl act around me. I know you barely won that thing, besides, I saw you struggling, so don't act like you were fighting like that because I asked you to buy time for Natsu" Yami replied.
"Your the worst!" Kazuko said as she folded her hands and frowned her face.
Yami just laughed awkwardly since he didn't know what to say.
"I'm glad you're alright Kazuko, and your fight was pretty amazing, it got me at the edge of my seat" Mitsuki said as she hugged her.
Kazuko smiled as she hugged Mitsuki back and said, "It was nothing"
"Oh please, you can say that to anyone but us, we know you to the core, you barely had that fight in control" Asahu said.
"Oh shut up, what do you know!" Kazuko said embarrassingly.
"Huh, did you just tell me to shut up, looks like you're ready for another fight" Asahu said as Mitsuki started laughing.
"Oh bring it on, I'll show you whose stronger" Kazuko said as she gave Asahu a deadly look.
"Oh that does it" Asahu said as he jumped towards Kazuko.
Kazuko followed Asahu and began fighting as Mitsuki tried stopping them, while Yami began laughing at the scene.
Kaikuh approached Yami with her face all red as she said in a low tone, "Be careful Yami"
Yami looked at her and said, "You don't have to worry about me, I'll be alright" as he smiled at her.
"Besides I'm not as weak as those wimps over there" Yami said.
"What did you just say?" Mitsuki said.
"Did you just call me a wimp!" Asahu said.
"It looks like you want to die early Yami" Kazuko said as they all stopped their activity and gave Yami a death piercing stare, which made Kaikuh to laugh a little as Gildart told them to stop fooling around.
They entered into an elevator that was meant to take them somewhere, while Natsu on the other hand just arrived at a door, as him and the adventurers went towards it and started knocking.
"What's the password?" a voice asked.
"Huh" everyone screamed.
"What do you mean by what's the password, there is a contestant dying and you dare to ask that" the young man said.
"Yeah, plus, I don't have much time since I got my hunters exam to write" Natsu said in support.
"How am I sure you guys are not intruders or beast acting like contestants, so, tell me what the password is" the voice said.
"Do we look like beasts to you, and how do you expect us to know the password" the young man asked.
"Don't open the gate, they don't know the password" the voice said.
"What!!!" The whole contestants said.
"You guys are meant to know the password, every stage 1 instructor is meant to tell his students the password" the voice said.
All of them had an image of Gildart laughing in there head as Natsu said, "Damn it, I'm sure mister Gildart purposefully did this"
"Open the gate, they got the password" the voice said.
"Huhhhhh!!!" They all screamed as the shiny guy asked, "How's that even a password?"
"The password was your stage 1 instructors name, so what ever phrase or sentence you made with it didn't matter as long as you said his name" a man at the door said as he smiled and continued, "Congratulations on passing the Adventurers exams"
Natsu immediately ran to the man at the door and said, "Please it's a life and death situation here, you have to take me to the hunters exam ASAP"
The man saw a contestant holding a girl that was seriously injured and shouted, "Where's the medic team and why aren't they doing there job?"
The nurses ran and took the girl into a room as they started treating her.
The other contestants were told to wait outside the room as Natsu continued screaming, "Can someone take me to the hunters exam, I'm already late"
The man they saw at the door looked at Natsu and said, "Can you stop making noise, you also need medical care and what's your problem with the hunters exam?"
"Oh sorry about that but I'm also a hunter, and I need to write my exam" Natsu replied.
"Just who do you think you are?" the man asked as he was rudely interrupted by Natsu.
"I'm Natsu and I'm meant to be writing my hunters exam"
"Wait, did you just say Natsu" the man asked.
"Yes, yes I did, I'm Natsu and..." Natsu said as he was rudely interrupted by the man.
"Your the F rank kid" the man said as he started laughing.
Natsu felt embarrassed as he faced his head down and folded his hands.
"Okay okay, just submit your bag to the counter and ask them for direction" the man said as he was laughing at Natsu.
Natsu left in humiliation since all the workers were laughing and making awful comments at him.
Natsu went to the counter and dropped his bag as the man explained how to get there.
Natsu started running towards the place as the man looked at the bag and said, "This bag is really big for an F rank" as someone in the counter said while laughing, "I'm sure he put rocks inside thinking we won't check it. Just put his name tag on it"
"Yeah you right" the man said as he put Natsu's name tag and placed it where the others were.
Natsu continued running through the halls as he became lost not knowing where the go.
Meanwhile, Yami has entered into his battle field as he took a deep breath and thought, "Everything is going to be alright, I'll just have to dodge its attacks to buy time for Natsu if it's very powerful. Come on Natsu, you have to hurry up and get here, cause I can't make this fight last forever"
As Yami was thinking, a lion with sharp teeth and claws which had a serpent as its tail, entered into the room and moved close to him as he thought, "Is this what I'm going to be fighting?"
The beast was an hybrid as it was the combination of a serpent and lion, but this beast tail had a serpent head that moved on its own.
Yami went back a little as Gildart said, "It's time for the stage 2 of the hunters exam for Yami to begin"
The stage 2 instructor took a deep breath and said, "Please don't be a brutal match as the last one" as he pressed a button sounding the alarms.
The monster stayed calm and watched Yami as it came closer to him.
"It's not attacking, that's good. If I don't launch an attack and just continue keeping my distance, I should be able to buy time for Natsu to get here, but there is a limit to how much I can stall"
"So please, no matter where you are, just hurry up and get here quickly, because it would be bad for someone like you to loose this exam" Yami thought as he was keeping his distance.
Yami was fighting in an open space, although this particular space wasn't as large as the rest since it looked like a box.
"Yami needs to be careful, his attacks are based on speed and strength, but those things won't be too important if there is no place to hide, therefore the only option he has is to fight this beast straight on"
"I just hope he would be able to survive this battle since he has lots of talent."
"I didn't really pick this particular monster for him to fight, but the field he's currently in is the exact field I wanted him to fight in"
"Wait, does that mean they also took my ideas to increase the difficulty"
"Come to think of it, Asahu fought underwater, and that's where I wanted him to fight, although the beast wasn't the same since I was thinking of a shark instead"
"The only way I'll know if they took some of my ideas is if Natsu fight in an empty room filled with pillars" Gildart thought as he watched Yami moving back slowly.
The beast looked at Yami and launched a slash marks towards him while swinging its claws.
Yami dodged the attack but as he turned towards the wall, he saw the depth of the claw mark and thought, "I'm glad I dodged that, and just in case of next time, I shouldn't allow this attack to him me, since it would split me apart" as he then turned towards the beast.
"It's gone" Yami thought as the beast appeared from the side trying to bite him.
Yami quickly moved his hands and stretched them, stopping the beast mouth from ripping him apart, as he struggled to keep it open.
The beast was stronger than Yami since it's jaw was slowly crushing his hands.
Yami jumped up as he entered inside which made the beast mouth close.
"It swallowed him!" Kaikuh thought as she tried reading the beasts mind.
"I can't hear anything, does that mean this beasts mind can't be read, or is it that it's not thinking" Kaikuh thought.
The beast moved a little while Kaikuh was thinking as it raised its head and opened its mouth.
Yami jumped out since he saw it as an opportunity, but as he was in the air, a seal appeared in the beast mouth as it roared, throwing Yami to the top wall, which made it to crack as dust covered him.
The beast shot slash marks towards Yami as it swung its claws.
Yami dodged it as he flew to the ground, but as he was standing, he saw it's tail heading towards him.
"Damn, this monster isn't playing around" Yami thought as he stopped the beast tail from swallowing him.
A seal appeared in the snacks mouth as it shot a large poisonous acid.
"Yami!" Kazuko, Asahu, Mitsuki and Kaikuh shouted as the liquid melted the place it touched.
