Raijin was scared and didn't know what to do as tears flowed down his eyes, remembering everything he went through during the exams and thought, "Is this really the end for me?"
"Sea Serpent, Death Roll!!!" Was heard as the serpent bit the fox, sending it towards the wall as Raijin and Kagahma became shocked when they heard a voice say, "Looks like I came right on time!" as they looked back and saw a girl.
This made Raijin relieved as he thought, "Thank goodness, I'm still alive"
Before this happened, as the water girl heard the loud noise, she summoned her serpent and began heading towards the place.
She was moving as fast as she could and tried to sense their energy as she thought, "I need to get there quickly before something bad happens, come on serpent, move faster, I need more speed!"
The serpent moved really quick as she then heard a strange noise that disturbed her ear and controlled her serpent to launch her towards the place before loosing control of it.
As she was approaching the place she saw the fox moving towards Raijin as she stretched her hands and screamed, "Sea Serpent, Death Roll" making a serpent to come out and bite the fox, as it rotated and crashed into the wall.
She then landed and stood up as she said, "Looks like I came right on time" and began heading towards them as she asked, "Are you guys okay?"
Kagahma nodded his head as Raijin said, "Yeah, thanks to you" as he took a deep breath and said, "I really appreciate what you did there, thank you for saving me, I owe you one"
"It's nothing, right now we need to focus on defeating that thing cause it looks mad" she said as she saw it getting up while growling.
The beast launched itself towards them as they both jumped away dodging its attack making it growl as it began chasing the girl.
They all tried to stay alive as they fought the beast.
The beast launched lots of claw marks towards them as some missed while others bruised them, as they had a great fight with the contestants on defense.
The beast then made a sonic howl as all of them closed their ears and screamed.
"We need a plan, but it's hard to think of one when this beast keeps launching attacks at us" Raijin thought as he opened his eyes to know where the beast was as he saw the beast about to bite the girl.
"Shit...!!!" Raijin said in a low tone as he saw her closing her ears while squatting as she screamed.
Black hands held the beast as Raijin looked at Kagahma and saw him bleeding from his ears as he began running towards the beast.
The sonic howl stopped as Raijin saw Kagahma trying to battle the beast as he dropped his hands and thought, "We can't defeat this beast without taking risk, what do I think I'm doing, I need to risk it all to defeat this thing if I want to survive" as he began running towards it while screaming.
They all began having a brutal fight as the launched attacks towards the beast and also tried to survive as they got injured really bad.
While they were fighting and moving about, the girl shouted, "Hey, the both of you should think of a way to kill this beast, I'll put it in a position that would allow you guys to kill it without it escaping"
They continued fighting as she set a trap while moving around. She then made the beast to start chasing her as she tried surviving.
Raijin got ready for an attack as he immediately saw a geyser pop out from the ground throwing the beast into the air as he thought, "This is my chance" and shouted, "Thunder storm!!!"
A yellow seal appeared above the beast and sent down a strong lightening bolt that electrocuted it as Kagahma saw it and thought, "Wait, did they set a trap to kill it, I can't really hear things really clearly but this is my chance to kill that thing" as he did a weird hand movement and said with a very deep voice, "Dark Spear" as the spears stabbed the beast and killed it.
The beast fell down and died as blood came out of it while they pant as they became relieved.
"That was close" the girl said as Raijin looked at her and then looked at Kagahma and thought, "This beast wasn't as strong as the one we fought in the hunters exam, yet it took the three of us to defeat it, so this is why they give us this kind of exams, it isn't about the power difference but instead your statics and compatibility with the beast"
"Thanks for your help, we would have been a gonna if not for you, I'm Raijin by the way"
"I'm Izumi, it was nice working with you and I hope we would be able to continue our alliance until this stage of the exam is over" she said as she brought out her hands to shake him.
"Same here" Raijin said as they shaked hands.
Kagahma saw what was going on and deduced that they were introducing themselves and said, "I'm Kagahma, it's nice to meet the both of you, I can't currently hear well so it might be a little bit hard to communicate"
Both nodded as Izumi bent down and began writing something.
"What's she doing" Raijin thought as he saw her name on the ground as she pointed it and pointed herself.
Kagahma immediately understood what she did as he looked at it and thought, "So her name is Izumi" and said, "It's nice to meet you Izumi"
Raijin was surprised as he thought, "She's really cool" and bent down and wrote his name.
"It's also nice to meet you Raijin but we need to start going, we don't have much time" Kagahma said as they began moving.
During this time Yami was carrying Natsu and was running away from a from a bowling ball with spikes.
Natsu saw a really narrow space and informed Yami as he stopped and screamed while Natsu came down, "Are you out of your mind, who knows if that's a trap, we can't just enter there, plus how are you sure we would fit in"
"The ball is a little bit far from us due to Yami's speed, but we don't have much time and Yami is right, they're too many unknowns to just enter here" Natsu thought as he looked at the place and began looking around.
Natsu couldn't find anything as Yami then tapped him and said, "We need to get out of here before that thing catches up to us. We both know that it could be a trap, everywhere is loaded with deadly traps in this exam so just forget about it and let's keep on moving"
Natsu didn't just want to leave, he felt like he was on the right track as he took a deep breath and ran towards it.
Yami turned and saw Natsu heading towards it as he immediately ran and held him while asking, "Have you lost your mind, what do you think you're doing?"
"I want to go through there, it's possible that it could be a short cut or even a hidden passage" Natsu said as Yami signed and replied before vanishing, "Wait here for me"
"What was that for and where did he go to?" Natsu thought as he looked at the space in the wall.
"It's possible that it's a trap, but why am I compelled to go through" Natsu thought as he waited for Yami.
Yami came back as Natsu said, "Where did you go to, I was worried plus..."
"Stay back Natsu, let's see if this isn't a trap. Also the bowling ball is pretty close" Yami said as he threw a few arrows up and took a deep breath, throwing some of them through the space.
Natsu was surprised as he saw spikes piece the arrow and thought, "Thank God Yami stopped me, I would have been dead if I went deep into that space" as Yami caught the remaining arrows and said it's time to move out.
Natsu turned and saw the spike ball heading towards them as Yami ran and held him.
Natsu did a skill as he held Yami in his back and said, "Thanks Yami, I would have been dead if not for you"
"That's nothing, you've also saved me too, plus we have gone this far thanks to you" Yami replied as he was running.
"No, it's thanks to both of us we're here. Let's finish this exam without much injuries!" Natsu said as they both smiled and continued moving.
They arrived at a place as Yami dodged lots of arrows and continued moving as Natsu saw a little difference between the wall as he immediately told Yami to stop.
Yami stopped and said, "Hey, what's up right now" as Natsu came down and began running towards the trap.
"What's he doing? I don't know but whatever it is he needs to be quick" Yami thought as he then said, "You better be quick with what you're doing cause that thing speed has increased drastically, so it's really close to us!"
"Yeah!" Natsu said as he continued running. Once he approached the place, he pushed a tile in the wall as the ground opened, making them to fall in as they screamed.
They both landed in a dark room as both panted while trying to stand up.
"Hey Natsu, is everything alright, hope you're okay?" Yami said as Natsu replied, "Yeah I'm fine!"
"Good!" Yami said as Natsu then tried standing up and realized he strained his legs and said in pains, "I just strained my legs"
"Okay" Yami replied as he took a deep breath and shouted, "What the hell did you think you were doing, now see what you caused!"
"I'm sorry, I thought it was a short cut, guess it was a hidden passage, although it's really dark, so what do you think we should do?"
"How would I know, figure it out, you're the one who caused this, you better...!" Yami screamed as he then heard a growled which made him keep quiet as both began hearing strange noises of different beast as they thought, "Don't tell me we entered into a beast nest, this is bad, how're we going to fight all those things in the dark?"
