Way before most of this things happened, the girl who helped levitate Natsu and the rest during the exam was cornered by an armadillo as it used it's tail to hit her towards the wall.
"Is this really the end for me? I'm even surprised I made it this far" the girl thought as her eyes closed while the armadillo rolled towards her, accepting her fate.
"Server, Fireball explosive star" someone said as the girl opened her eyes and saw the armadillo attacking the cutting boy as the shiny boy came close to her and asked if she was okay.
"Yeah, I'm fine" the girl said as the shiny boy helped her up which made her embarrassed as he then said, "Just hide yourself, we would take care of the beast"
He then left her and went to help the cutting boy as they both began fighting.
"Be careful" the cutting boy said as he dodged the armadillo and began running.
"It's really hard to cut through it, it's barely getting any damage in that form" the cutting boy said as he was running.
"Got it" the shiny boy replied as he then conjured his tiny explosive balls and sent it towards the armadillo.
The armadillo became normal as it curved back up and began chasing them as the tiny balls exploded when it came in contact with it.
"It's not working" the shiny boy said as he started running away from the beast.
The cutting boy held his blade and launched lots of slash marks towards the beast trying to get it's attention.
Both of them began trying to wear the beast as they launched different attacks towards it while still trying to stay safe.
The girl was watching the fight and began thinking as she was trying to figure out how to win.
"They're both strong but against this beast there efforts are futile. There attacks isn't affecting the beast so the only thing they're doing is trying to wear it out and by time"
"Come on Haruka, think, what do you know about this beast"
"Think, think, think!!! Wait that's it, this beast is called an Amarillo, and the upper part of its body is pretty strong and sometimes be reluctant to magic"
"From the cyclopaedia I read, the beast weak point is its lower body especially the belly, but how would we get it to open up? How would we be able to attack that area?"
"Wait, the book also said this, 'If you encounter an armadillo beast, attack it from the side, it's more likely to affect it than attacking it head on.' But even if we do that, how do we attack its lower body?"
"If only we could make it float, it would have been easy for us to kill it" the girl thought as she then realized that she was the solution to the problem.
"Can I really raise something of that size? No I shouldn't doubt myself, those two are out there risking there life's for me" she thought as she opened her mouth to tell them her plan as a thought came into her head, "Wait, would they really listen to me? I'm really weak and I'm sure they don't want me to tell them what to do. Yeah, it's better I don't say anything and leave it up to them, it's never ended well for me whenever I try to help out" the girl thought as she closed her mouth and leaned back, remembering the way people treated her when she tried helping out.
The shiny boy noticed her expression as he saw what happened and thought, "Does she have a plan? Why haven't she told us, is she really that unsure of it, or is she just too shy? Talking of that, during the exams, the girl barely made comments even though she wanted to say something. The only time she spoke was when they began talking about life shield, my guess is that she spoke up because she didn't want to die. Ahhh! It's hard to think clearly while still fighting this beast, but I think I can make her talk"
"Hey do you have a plan?" the shiny boy asked as the cutting boy replied, "No, I got nothing, our attacks aren't working and I'm starting to get tired"
"Damn it, I was counting on someone having a plan cause we can't go on like this forever" the shiny boy said as the other replied, "Yeah, this isn't going to work, we need a way to literally kill this thing"
Haruka looked at them as she heard what they said and stammered, "Hey I got an idea but..."
The shiny boy immediately interrupted her and said, "Just tell us what to do, you don't have to give the full details, we're running out of time" as he thought, "Guess it worked, although it looks like she's still scared to speak up"
The cutting boy looked at him being confused and thought, "Is he trying to make the girl think of a way out? If that's so I should try helping out since we have wasted enough time with this beast"
"Yeah just tell us the plan and if it doesn't work we can always look for another way to kill it, we need to try everything we got" the cutting boy said as he looked at the shiny boy and thought, "Hope that helped out"
The shiny boy nodded and thanked him in his mind as he became grateful.
The girl became surprised as thoughts flowed through her head, "Do they actually want to hear me out? Wait, aren't they going criticizing me since I'm weak? What's going on wha...?"
"Hey what's going on in your head, I thought you had a plan!" the cutting boy said as he became upset since she wasn't speaking up as the shiny boy tried to make things go smoothly so that she won't be scared and replied, "Yeah, we're running out of magic and stamina, so we really need that plan of yours right away!"
"Right!" The girl said as she took a deep breath and thought, "I hope things go well"
"You guys should attack the beast from the side, that way..." She said as the shiny boy replied, "Got it!" As they both moved towards the side and launched different attacks at it making it to unfold as it crashed into the ground.
"Wait...! It's now up to me!" the girl thought as she saw what happened and immediately used he magic to levitate it up and screamed, "Attack its opened part, I can't hold it...!" as she became shocked seeing them doing it before she even completed her statement.
"I see, so her plan was to kill it by attacking its weak point. She can't really raise it high above the ground but this should do" the shiny boy thought as he first launched his exploding stars beneath the beast helping her to raise the beast high, but before he could do his next attack, the cutting boy smiled and cut through it making the beast fall in pieces.
"They didn't let me explain myself, I didn't even have to try to put my plan in a perfect way for them to execute it but yet they did what I said immediately it came out from my mouth" the girl thought as tears hanged on her eyes as she saw what they did.
"I guessed that worked out" the shiny boy thought as the boys became relieved and began moving towards the girl.
"That went well, you had a very nice idea and thanks to that we defeated the beast"
The girl didn't know when her tears dropped from her eyes as the cutting boy saw it and said, "Don't tell me your crying, are you seriously that..."
"Hey, what was that for?" The cutting boy said as he felt something hit him before he completed his statement.
"You don't have to be rude all the time" the shiny boy replied as the cutting boy said, "You ain't the boss of me, I'll do whatever I want..."
"Yeah yeah, you don't have to tell me that" the shiny boy said making the cutting boy angry as he replied, "What in the... I'll kill you!!!"
The girl began laughing as she cleaned her tears seeing the both of them goofing around.
The shiny boy smiled as he then introduced himself, "I'm Daiki, it's nice to meet you"
"I'm Haruka, it's a pleasure to meet the both of you, thanks for saving me back there" the girl said as the cutting boy looked at them weirdly and said, "Can you two stop your lovey dovey stuff, we need to go, we don't have much time"
The girl became embarrassed as her face became red while Daiki replied, "We were just introducing ourselves..."
"Yeah yeah, I know, now let's start going, we don't have much time and by the way I'm shota, now let's begin moving" the cutting boy said as he began moving.
The girl smiled as Daiki then tried helping her stand up making her feel embarrassed, as they began heading out.
In another location, Kaikuh was careful walking through the hall since she knew how weak she was.
As she was moving, she reached a place where she saw a gigantic door wide open and began thinking as she continued heading towards it.
"Why's the door open, isn't it meant to be closed or something, well there's also a possibility that someone has already passed through here, or maybe it's a trap, what should I do?" She thought when walking through the hall as she then heard a loud noise.
"What was that?" Kaikuh thought as she began running towards the door to know what's happening.
She saw Akari and Makoto trying to survive as they battled a gigantic leopard.
"Wow, that beast is really fast and it looks like it's overpowering them" Kaikuh thought as Akari controlled vines to attack the beast.
The leopard dodged it and went close to her but Makoto raised a sand wall that protected her as the beast stepped on it and went towards him.
Akari protected Makoto with vines as she thought, "This battle is hopeless, this beast is way too fast"
Kaikuh looked at the beast and took a deep breath as she heard its thought, "This two are just wasting my time, I should get it over with them, the only problem is there defense, it's hard to actually land a hit on one of them"
Kaikuh decided to get closer to see how she can help out. Kaikuh tiptoed to make sure the beast didn't see her as she hid behind a large rock and began observing the fight.
The beast continued attacking them brutally as they tried defending themselves while still thinking of a way to survive.
Suddenly, the beast appeared at Makoto's back hitting him towards the wall close to Kaikuh.
Kaikuh was shocked and fell to the ground as she she saw the leopard thought.
The leopard wanted to move towards Makoto to crush him, and as Akari tries to protect him, it would go from the back to eat her.
Kaikuh became scared as she then saw things playing as the leopard thought and then shouted, "Watch out, behind you!"
