Shentu Chu looked down at the seemingly fragile and weak woman in front of him. He was tempted to joke with her, but seeing that she wasn't in a good mood, he held himself back.
"He died in a plane crash," Shentu Chu replied bluntly, face devoid of emotions.
"Really? Not sabotage?"
With the way she was probing him, it was hard for Shentu Chu not to respond. She was suspicious of him, wasn't she?
"The police have a report on it," he answered.
Qin Zhuzhu continued to stare up at him, her gaze pained and filled with unspeakable sufferings. Shentu Chu was forced to look away, feeling uncomfortable and awkward, his throat bobbing up and down.
"Shentu Chu!" Jiang Zhaoling stomped up to him, her anger burning like a wildfire.
Her eyes shifted to Qin Zhuzhu before narrowing at Shentu Chu.
"Zhaoling, what are you doing here? Did you run away from Uncle Wubai again?" Shentu Chu spoke calmly, as if addressing a child.
