Aria was rushed to the pack medical center, but no matter what Melissa did, she couldn't bring down the hotness of her body.
"What is wrong with her?" Nyla asked Melissa, who has tried to heal Aria but couldn't. "Could Lia be right? Is she maybe a witch?"
"She isn't." Melissa replied. She turned to looked at Nyla and said "Aria may not have a wolf but that does not mean she isn't a werewolf, she is just different."
"She burnt Teira just by looking at her; I think she is more than different, Melissa," Nyla said, her gaze moving to an unconscious Aria.
Melissa could notice Nyla's nervousness, so she asked, "Why are you so nervous? It's not like you were the one who did this to her."
"In a way I am. If Teira had not overheard my conversation with Tyler, then none of this would have happened. I feel like it's my fault. What will happen if the Alpha gets to know about this?" The very thought of facing the Alpha angers her.
The door to the ward opened, and Cole came in.
