Vivian returned from the restroom, unaware of the slightly odd atmosphere between the two. The three of them continued their meal.
After dinner, Vivian expressed her gratitude to Dave for treating them to a big meal and then found an excuse to leave, allowing Dave and Laurent to go shopping together.
Vivian wasn't the type of person who lacked awareness. Initially, she had agreed to accompany Laurent for shopping, thinking that Dave, with his strong masculinity, wouldn't join her. Now that he was there, and clearly in the mood of a disgruntled husband, she figured there was no need to stay and play the role of a giant third wheel.
So, Laurent had no choice but to shop with Dave. During the day at the office, she had made a shopping list during her spare time, so she could just follow it for now.
Since they were heading to a tropical destination, swimwear was a must.
