As for the other second years they did the only reasonable thing which was try out number him, but little did they know that what they tried to outnumber was a one-man army.
He was enjoying pulverizing each second year because for each he got a random core point and 25 points. It was as if the total awakening of a devil as he made sure to injure every second year that appeared in front of him.
James was not majorly injured, but the problem was that he was almost absorbed. If he had absorbed all that black water, then he could have become a peak level emperor much more if he opened the third door of punishment not even a saint could stop him.

"I go by the first name Feln and I am ranked 7th among the second years and 4th among the second-year boys. I am also a member of the honor society so please view my next actions merely as honoring your incredible talent."
James used abyssal walk to close the distance between him and Feln and landed a direct blow on his face. The punch could not even phase Feln the slightest as he smiled after the punch and landed his own directly to James's stomach which made him lose conscious for a second.

Obviously with the amount of ego that James had he chosen to gamble his own life. His eyes reverted back to normal symbolizing the end of Darkness. He could not fully utilize even half of its full power because of how much he lacked in terms of power.
He found himself in a large ocean with black waters and three doors. The knowledge about how it worked was already in his mind. The doors each represented a rule, but he could not even dream about using them with his current strength.
The thing he was supposed to carry back was even a drop of the ocean's black water. But that meant he could easily be consumed and die. James did not take it to heart and simply carried enough water that covered both his hands.

Fein prepared for the final blow but was stopped by James's aura alone. Fein knew something was off, so he decided to go all out using his trait that increased defense by 15%. The defensive boost was not good enough to block the punch thrown by James.
James used his skill which made his appearance disappear making it many times harder for Fein to block and attack. Everyone watching the fight saw as if James grew stronger every second.
It was true as per second his stats grew but this could only mean that his soul was being absorbed each second. Before James could notice his body was moving on its own and he was slowly drowning.
Instead of a cup hold of water inside him was now entering buckets after buckets of water so before he knew it the system appeared and displayed his stats which were now beyond any student.

The professor on duty knew the tradition but upon sensing the massive power ran into the dining hall only to see an ominous James. The professor was Ryoma a mid ultimate rank hunter.
Although the gap was significant the professor looked hesitant as it meant injuring James and making him unconscious. This was not the first time seeing a student lose control and unlock a high-ranking trait despite being too weak to control it.
The third years had many such cases as it had people with A and S class traits, but this was the first time a student went up to peak advanced rank. Ryoma decided to solve this quickly by using his magic before James grew stronger. The magic was a mental attack that immediatly made James go unconsious.
This event was the highlight as a first year had managed to take out sixteen second years including the one ranked 7th. Derik was extremely disappointed by them
