3rd POV
{Everyone always asks me why I pursued a career in theoretical physics. I usually reply, 'I want to uncover the mysteries of the universe.' But the real answer? I wanted to prove this idiot wrong and show that my big brother wasn't wrong to believe in me.} – Adult Sheldon
George walked briskly toward the principal's office, his face a mix of frustration and concern. Once again, this involved his kids.
Students whispered and pointed as he passed through the hallways. George didn't know what was going on, but the looks on their faces only added to his irritation.
Reaching the door, he exhaled deeply and knocked. Inside, he spotted Georgie and Sheldon seated near Mr. Givens.
"What happened?" George asked as he approached his sons. He had no idea what this was about, but he was ready to protect them—or discipline them if necessary.
"Your son, Georgie, was rude to Dr. Hodges in class." Principal Peterson explained. George nodded as the pieces began to fall into place.
"Georgie, go apologize to Dr. Hodges." George said firmly, looking at his eldest.
"He already did before he speak, in class." Mr. Givens interjected, smiling. "Honestly, I was relieved when Georgie called him out."
"…Then why are we even here?" George asked, his patience thinning as he turned to Principal Peterson.
"Because your son, Sheldon, refuses to back down!" Peterson exclaimed. "George, come on, are you really going to let this slide?"
George turned back to his boys, letting out a sigh. "Sheldon, just let it go."
Sheldon looked up, confused. "Why? I can prove to you that nincompoop was wrong."
"Nincompoop?" George repeated, glancing at Mr. Givens.
"Oh, that. Dr. Hodges mentioned astronauts wear diapers…" Mr. Givens shrugged with a chuckle.
"It's not funny, Mr. Givens." Principal Peterson scolded, turning his weary gaze back to George.
"Alright, I trust you." George said, though it was clear he didn't mean it. He just wanted to get this over with.
"Sheldon can do it." Georgie suddenly said with confidence. "I believe in him."
George stared at his eldest son, bewildered. "How? He's nine! You want him to take on a NASA scientist? For what?"
Georgie didn't answer. Instead, he turned to Sheldon. "Shelly?"
Sheldon straightened in his chair, glancing between the adults in the room. "I want him to apologize—to me and my brother."
George sighed deeply, his frustration evident. Principal Peterson shared his exhaustion; he had already tried convincing Sheldon to drop the matter, but it was no use.
"Alright… we'll talk about this at dinner." George said, hoping Sheldon would forget. But he'd overlooked the fact that Sheldon never forgot anything—especially not since Mary stopped breastfeeding him.

Georgie's POV
"I heard you got called to the principal's office." Veronica teased, tracing circles on my chest. We were lying under a tree in the schoolyard, the distant chatter of students blending into the background.
"Yeah, you know that NASA guy, right? I've got a bet with him." I said, pulling her closer.
"…You know my mom's not home tonight." Veronica said, looking up at me with a mischievous glint in her eye.
"Tempting." I said, kissing her lightly on the lips, "but I can't. My family's going to hash out what happened at dinner."
"Alright." Veronica sighed, turning her head away. But then, softly, she added, "…Georgie, you know I love you, right?"
"Of course." I said, watching her closely. "Why?"
"Nothing. I just wanted you to know." she replied, her eyes meeting mine again.
"EXCUSE ME!" a girl's voice interrupted us. Without warning, she wedged herself between us, sitting down in Veronica's spot and pushing Veronica aside.
"What the hell?!" Veronica yelled, glaring at her. "What are you doing, KAYLA?"
"What? I want to sit here." Kayla said nonchalantly, ignoring Veronica's anger.
Veronica looked ready to lash out, but I stopped her. "Come here." I said, motioning for her to sit beside me again at the other side.
She moved over, nestling into my arms again as we lay back under the tree. Veronica giggled and playfully patted my chest.
"…You two are shameless." Kayla muttered, watching us with a mix of annoyance and disbelief.
"What? He's my boyfriend!" Veronica said, wrapping her arms around my neck. She kissed me, then smirked at Kayla.
"Georgie." a voice called out, and I turned to see James and Edo approaching.
"Yo, guys!" I greeted them, still holding Veronica close.
"We've talked it over, and we're in." James said. Edo nodded in agreement.
"Alright." I said, sitting up as Veronica released me. "I'll let Miss Fenley know tonight and fill her in on you guys. But remember, once you sign the contract, I expect professionalism. No whining, no childish attitudes. This isn't a game—I want you all to do your best."
They nodded seriously, even Kayla seemed focused for once.
"Thank you. We didn't know what we'd do after high school… This is our chance." Edo said, his tone earnest. "…Even if we're just your backup band, we'll take it. Bar-to-bar gigs won't make us rich."
"Alright, alright… What genre do y'all like to play?"
"Punk." James answered.
"…I knew it…" I sighed, shaking my head as I looked at them.

3rd POV
"So, I saw a lawyer today." Connie started, breaking the silence over dinner as she took a bite of her food.
"Why?" Mary asked, intrigued, while George, busy eating his fried chicken, joked, "Guess we're gonna miss ya."
Mary froze mid-bite, glaring at George, "George!" she snapped. Before she could continue, Connie cut her off. They all knew George was only joking. "Relax. He's not getting a cent from my will." Connie retorted with a smirk.
"Wait, are you dying?!" Missy exclaimed in panic. "I don't want you to die! I've only kissed one boy!"
Georgie choked on his drink, coughing in shock. "You kissed a boy?! WHO?", Missy giggled mischievously. "You, silly!"
"Oh… right. Well, I forgive him, then." Georgie said, relieved. Of course, it had been a kiss on the cheek, not the lips.
Mary and George exchanged flabbergasted looks before dismissing the kids' antics. "Shelly, you haven't touched your food. Put down that pencil." Mary scolded when she noticed Sheldon scribbling in his notebook instead of eating.
"Yes, Sheldon." Georgie chimed in, helping Sheldon place his notebook and pencil aside. "You can continue after dinner. Your body needs fuel, and your brain needs energy to function properly."
"…Speaking of that." George started while sighing for he know sheldon not forgetting about this, "Sheldon and Georgie got called to the principal's office today."
"What?! Why?" Mary demanded, her voice rising in concern as she looked between George and the boys.
George shrugged. "It's not exactly bad... or good. I'm not sure." He recounted what Mr. Givens and Principal Peterson had told him earlier.
"Georgie, that's bad behavior, even for you!" Mary scolded, pointing her fork at him. "You're the oldest. You're supposed to set a good example for Sheldon."
"What are you talking about? I am setting a good example for Sheldon." Georgie defended himself.
Mary cut him off. "Being rude to adults is not a good example!"
"Not if the person deserves it." Georgie shot back. "Alright, let me explain from my perspective." He leaned back, looking at everyone around the table.
"When I saw him—what's his name again, Shelly?" Georgie asked.
"Dr. Hodges." Sheldon replied, giving Georgie a confused look.
"No, what did you call him earlier?" Georgie clarified, grinning.
"Oh… Nimcompoop."
Missy burst out laughing. "Haha, Nimcompoop!"
Connie giggled as well, while George tried to suppress a smile as he took a sip of his beer. Only Mary looked unimpressed with the nickname.
"Anyway." Georgie continued, "the moment he walked into the classroom, I saw it. That look of arrogance on his face. Especially when he glanced at Mr. Givens. Roommate? Friend? Colleague? I don't know. But he looked at Mr. Givens like he was some kind of… dummy doodle guy! And at that moment, I didn't like him."
"…So that's why you insulted him." George said, finally understanding Georgie's reasoning. He and Connie exchanged a knowing look. Georgie had been trying to teach Sheldon a lesson about respect to other—but in a way that might've gone too far.
Mary sighed, frustrated. She understood Georgie's intentions, but that didn't justify his actions. "Even if your heart was in the right place, that's no excuse for being rude to people."
"I know. That's why I apologized to him." Georgie said with a small smirk. "But… I added a little jab in there."
Georgie looked at Sheldon and Missy. "Do you understand what I'm trying to say here?"
"You don't like him." Sheldon stated plainly.
Missy, however, gave a more thoughtful answer. "You don't want Sheldon to end up like him. And honestly, I don't want Sheldon acting like that guy either." She turned to Sheldon. "Isn't Georgie the greatest brother for you?"
"Haha! I am the greatest older brother for both of you!" Georgie declared proudly. "You're not the best brother." Mary shot back, still annoyed.
Sheldon stared at Georgie for a few seconds before giving a small nod and returning to his food. "Don't rush." Georgie told him, "We've got plenty of time to beat him!"
"I know." Sheldon replied, chewing methodically. "I'm following the proper procedure: 32 chews before swallowing."
"Good." Georgie shrugged and turned to George. He received a subtle nod from his dad to continue mentoring Sheldon. It wasn't about competition—it was about teaching Sheldon how to navigate the world as a person, not just a genius.
Georgie shifted his attention to Connie, who had just raised her fork to take a bite. "…We need a computer in this house. With the money you made from all that 'betting,' I know you can afford one." Georgie smiled mischievously.
Connie froze, staring at Georgie in disbelief. "What?"
Sheldon's eyes widened, his interest piqued at the words 'buy a computer.'
