Cassiel knew he should stop. He had already won. Angelus was barely holding himself together, his green eyes flickering with barely restrained frustration but stopping wasn't in Cassiel's nature.
Not when he could push Angelus just a little more. Slowly, carefully, his fingers slid up another inch.
The muscle beneath his touch tensed, and he felt Angelus's entire body stiffen. This time, he let his fingertips ghost teasingly along the inside of his thigh, dangerously close to where he knew Angelus absolutely did not want him touching in the middle of a formal meal with his older sister and her husband.
Angelus inhaled sharply, his knuckles turning white as he gripped his fork. His chest rose and fell with steady, controlled breaths, but Cassiel saw through the act. His prince was hanging by a thread.
Gael chuckled. "You're really not listening to a word I'm saying, are you?" He nudged Angelus's arm playfully.
