As I was practicing with my sniping I got bored after shooting my fifth round site decided to take a look at one of the items I got in my last mission.
As i look at the Bloodline Essence House Black. I decided to click on it to see it description.
[Bloodline Essence: House Black]
The essence of one of the most ancient and powerful pure-blood families in the Wizarding World. House Black was known for its mastery of dark magic, its influence over magical politics, and its unyielding pursuit of power. This essence contains the condensed magical heritage of the Black family, including their affinity for curses, blood magic, and arcane rituals. if you have the perk [Background Maker] and you do a world jump to the world of Harry Potter you can make yourself a member of this house without paying any credit.
With the description, i decided to crack open the orb.
[Essence acquired]
Just as I was about to resume training, the sky above my island darkened, shifting into an unnatural purple hue.
"Again?" I muttered, summoning Dawn from my inventory.
[Monster Invasion]
A massive portal tore open in the sky, disgorging a horde of humanoid orcs some mounted on demonic-looking goats. Without wasting time, I coated myself in mana, reinforcing my blade as I lunged forward.
The first wave fell easily, cleaved apart with precision. But then, something larger emerged a towering orc clad in black armor, its crimson skin pulsing with dark energy. Before it could even roar in challenge, I blurred forward, Dawn flashing in an arc.
The creature's head hit the ground before its body did.
The remaining monsters faltered, scrambling back toward the portal—only to be engulfed in a sudden inferno. Turning, I saw Melisandre lowering her hand, Cersei at her side with a bloodied sword.
"Took you long enough," I remarked, sheathing Dawn.
Melisandre bowed slightly. "Apologies, my Lord. We only sensed the intrusion when that beast revealed its presence." She gestured at the decapitated orc warlord.
I stored the corpses in my inventory. These invasions were becoming a nuisance. Most of the creatures were weak, but their frequency was irritating. There was an upgrade to seal my realm entirely locking out all dimensional intruders but the cost was exorbitant.
Not worth it yet, I decided. Nothing truly dangerous had breached my domain.
Yet….
-later-
As I was practicing using Dawn with one hand the large sword making it difficult to use since normally it would take two hands to wheeled.
But the last user he took it from used 2 sword in his swordsman style. As he kept swinging the sword with one hand, he quickly put his both hands on the sword as he heard a voice.
"Had fun?"
The male voice makes me move quickly as I was the only male in this dimension. As I prepared to swing the sword, the tip of the blade is completely stopped by two fingers.
The person in front of me who is currently grabbing my sword with his two fingers was a pretty short guy but the man did have long silver hair with a tan complexion and purple eyes and he was currently smoking at me.
how are you our little bounty hunter the man said with a smirk as he let go of Dawn, but kicked it to the sky as the sword immediately fell down to the floor.
Who are you? I ask well aware that this clearly was not a normal person or an invader since I didn't get any notifications.
I'm known by many names, but I'm also very good friends with Zephyrus. I'm the second founder of the guild Izana the first he says with a smirk.
I immediately recognized the name since it was part of the guild knowledge he gave before he did his first mission. Izana was considered the first gamer in existence since his magic was the one that created his own gamer system, and which every other system was based on.
He and lord Zephyrus created the interdimensional war guild. Or I.D.W.G for short.
I see I splattered out since I knew I couldn't do Jack shit if this guy wanted to rip me apart. His smirk, only increase as I thought that. Don't worry like I said you were a little bounty on it meaning I have a job for you. As he said that he throws a scroll at me which immediately turns into particles as I touch it.
Mission added
[Interdimensional Guild Contract]
Issuer: Izana the supreme, Second Founder of the I.D.W.G.
Target: Kael Arcanis, the "System Thief"
World: custom-made
Threat Level: Extreme (Confirmed Multiversal Jumper)
Reward: 50,000 Credits, [Izana's Favor], Unlock [Gamer's Core] Upgrade Path
Kael Arcanis is a fuck up who I allowed to fuse with a system. I created a long time ago, but do how shitty the system he received he now goes around and takes systems from other gamer. He's currently hiding in a custom world, the bastard created a small dimension buying it from another one of our members? A kid with a [Dragon Tamer] system Kael butchered him and spliced the system into his own, creating a hybrid abomination.
Will you be so nice and kill the fucker for me?
"Why me?" I asked, keeping my voice steady. "You could erase him with a thought."
Izana took a slow drag from a cigarette (that I didn't even notice he pulled out), the ember flaring in the dim light. "Rules, kid. Even gods have them. Zephyrus and I don't interfere directly with guild contracts unless it's a catastrophic breach. Kael's slippery he's been hopping worlds, hiding in blind spots. But he's not big enough for us to do anything about him, that why we have people like you?" He smirked as he points at me..
I clenched my jaw. The reward was insane 50,000 credits, a favor from Izana himself, and an upgrade to my Gamer's Core. But the threat level? Extreme.
"What's his strength?"
Izana flicked ash into the wind. "He's got a patchwork system just a basic status, limited inventory and Gacha functions but I doubt he doesn't have more functions. But the Dragon Tamer fragment? That's new. Expect a very pissed-off wyrm riding his ass."
His first world was a custom version of Hunter Hunter and then the fucker decided to go crazy. He started hunting down other beginner guild members who haven't even completed their first world.
I'll transfer you his skill list from the last time I saw him when he completed his first world, but he probably has increased his power since then, since it was before he killed the other beginner gamer. Izana said flickering his fingers.

Note from Izana: "This is the little shit BEFORE he started killing other gamers. That Dragon Tamer fragment gave him at minimum: dragon summoning, fire breath resistance, and some form of beast communication. Expect the worst."
I write the final note I look at Izana who only give me a shit eating grin. Like I said, you can accept or not but the choice is yours at the end of the day, but if you reject this offer I simply go to a different bounty Hunter. As he said that I immediately consider his offer…
You met Izana's gaze, unwavering.
"I'll take the job."
His grin widened, sharp and knowing. "Smart choice." He flicked his cigarette into the void, where it vanished mid-air.
With that, he snapped his fingers….
And the world dissolved around me.
My boots crunched onto shattered asphalt, the stench of ozone and rotting meat hitting me instantly. The ruins stretched in every direction skyscrapers snapped in half, streets folded upward like some giant had crumpled the city like paper.
And in the distance…
A roar.
Not a dragon's.
His.
Kael's voice echoed across the wasteland, warped with stolen power:
"IZANA SENT ANOTHER ONE? COME ON THEN, BOUNTY HUNTER! LET'S SEE HOW LONG YOU LAST!"
[Warning: Target has detected your arrival]
[Warning: Dragon signature detected (87% match - World Serpent hybrid)]
[Warning: Local mana instability detected - skill efficiency reduced by 20%]
I cracked my neck.
-Later-
The moment Kael's taunt faded into the ruined city's echoes, I melted into the shadows. My body dissolved into smoke, slipping between cracks in the rubble, clinging to the husks of collapsed buildings like a phantom.
The air here was thick with the stench of scorched metal and something fouler dragon musk. Kael was close. His voice had come from northwest, near what looked like a half-sunken coliseum.
Too predictable.
I crept along a shattered overpass, Dawn humming faintly in my grip. The blade's edge drank in the dim light, leaving no reflection. Below, the streets pulsed with unstable mana
A silhouette paced atop the coliseum's broken rim. Kael.
Even from here, I could see the changes. His left arm glowed with jagged, mismatched runes stolen System fragments grafted onto his flesh. His eyes flickered with the same sickly green as the sky.
And at his feet a massive, twitching shape.
The dragon.
Not a full World Serpent yet, but close. Its scales were patchwork, some gleaming like obsidian, others dull and cracked. One wing was stitched together with glowing threads of mana improperly healed.
Good. He's still integrating it.
I could work with that.
I exhaled, then phased through the shadows, reappearing on a crumbling pillar just below the coliseum's edge. Kael was muttering to himself, poking at his stolen System screens. The dragon's tail twitched it sensed something.
Too late.
I lunged, Dawn aimed straight for the glowing runes on Kael's arm.
The blade sang as it cut through the air, a whisper of death aimed at Kael's corrupted arm. At the last instant, his stolen instincts kicked in he twisted, and Dawn only grazed his forearm, slicing through glowing runes like they were paper.
A crackling explosion of mana erupted from the wound, sending us both flying back.
"FUCK!" Kael roared, clutching his arm as stolen System fragments sparked and fizzled. The dragon reared up with a deafening shriek, its mismatched eyes locking onto me.
I didn't hesitate.
I vanished just as the dragon's maw snapped shut where I'd been standing, reappearing behind Kael. He was still recovering, his System glitching his stolen powers flickering like a dying light.
Now.
Dawn came down in a brutal arc…
CLANG!
A conjured greatsword materialized in Kael's grip just in time to block, but the force sent him skidding back. His teeth were bared, his mismatched eyes wide with fury.
"You little shit!" he spat. "You think just because Izana sent you, you can take me? I've killed gamers way stronger than you!"
The dragon lunged again, its tail whipping toward me. I ducked, feeling the wind shear past my face, and retaliated with a Mana-Infused slash across its snout. Black blood sprayed the ground, sizzling like acid.
Kael didn't waste the opening.
[Skill Theft Attempt Detected]
A jagged, glowing chain shot from his wounded arm, lashing toward my chest trying to rip out my System. I barely twisted away, but it grazed my side, sending a jolt of searing pain through me.
Shit. If that connected fully, I'd be just another corpse in his collection.
The dragon recovered, its wings beating hard, stirring up a cyclone of debris. Kael grinned, blood dripping from his mouth.
"You're not leaving here alive, bounty hunter."
I smirked.
"Wrong."
Then I covered my arm in mana twist in the air around manipulating the elements around with my mana.
[Wind Magic tree unlocked]
The air around Kael shattered, the air twisting violently. His stolen System screamed in protest as his body contorted, bones cracking. The dragon howled, caught in the distortion its stitched-together wing ripped apart at the seams.
Kael dropped to his knees, his body failing. "N-No... I was... s-supposed to be... the strongest..."
I walked forward, Dawn raised.
"Not even close."
The blade came down.
[Target Eliminated: Kael Arcanis]
[Dragon Bond Severed - World Serpent Hybrid Neutralized]
The dragon's body dissolved into motes of light, its stolen life finally freed. Kael's corpse collapsed, his stolen System fragments scattering like broken glass.
[Mission Complete]
[Rewards: 50,000 Credits | Izana's Favor | Gamer's Core Upgrade Unlocked]
I exhaled, rolling my shoulder.
Time to collect.
[Credit Balance Updated: 52,814]
Finally. Enough to seal my island permanently.
[Izana's Favor]
One free pass to break guild rules. Don't waste it.
I smirked. Cheat code acquired.
Then the core.
[Gamer's Core Upgrade: Select Path]
Assimilation: Absorb defeated Systems to enhance your own (Recommended)
Skill Forge: Dismantle stolen skills to create custom abilities
I didn't hesitate.
"Assimilation."
The core shattered, liquid fire pouring into my veins. My System screamed as it expanded new functions unfolding like a bloodstained flower.
[New Functions Unlocked]
System Scan: Detect other abilities
Gacha roll: weekly Gacha pull
Melisandre and Cersei were already waiting at the shore, their postures tense until they recognized me.
"You're intact," Cersei noted, eyeing the fresh bloodstains on my coat.
"More than intact." I tossed her the credit chit. "Seal the island. Permanently."
Her eyebrows shot up as she read the amount. Melisandre's lips curled in a rare smile. "The tides favor us."
I left them to it, striding up the beach toward my castle. The upgrades pulsed under my skin.
But first?
A shower. A drink.
And then the next hunt.
[Island Defense Upgrade Purchased: Dimensional Lock Engaged]
With that, I made my way to my personal bathroom.
