When I say my birthday was awkward, I mean it was very awkward. First of all I was walking like a duck because of last night even with Taylor and second, I just couldn't bring myself to look at him. Like he was still something I still didn't know to me and I had just given myself and my body to him.
"Ruby?"
I looked up to the side where he was sitted and when I met eyes with him I looked away.
"You know avoiding speaking tk me won't change what happened?"
Oohh shit! This guy is too blunt.
"I am just shy, okay?"
I said looking at my lap. It was very interesting right now that the awkward conversation we were having as he dragged me to go shopping and celebrate my birthday. Which was against my will if I was to be asked.
"You didn't seem shy last night!"
He said chuckiling and I wished I could hit his mouth.
"You are so mean.."
He chuckled again.
"And you are cute..."
I looked at him then away shyly.
"Don't worry I will not mention it again until your birthday is over."
I nodded. Speaking of birthdays I had a really bad feeling of it.
Soon we arrived in the mall and we started to walk around. Taylor bought me a few things including clothes and jewels. We talked about him and I found out he is a CEO of a music industry. Impressive if I do say so.
"Taylor!"
We both looked behind only to be met by a very gorgeous lady. She looked sogisticated and rich and beautiful and educated and everything I wasn't. She walked to us and hugged Taylor tightly before giving him a kiss on the lips.
"I missed you so much, how have you been?"
I am sure she said more but I was already lost in my thoughts. Who was she? Was she Taylors girlfriend? Ohh fuck my life, this wasn't good at all.
"Oh, hi?"
She said and I snapped back. I looked at Taylor he was as usual with an unreadable face then at the girl.
"You must be Taylors new charity case?"
Well that hurts, like really hurts. I had just slept with the guy for crying out loud and now she thought I was a charity case? Was I?
"I guess..."
I said looking at Taylor, he was looking at me straight in the eyes but my world had just been scrumble to pieces.
"I see, so what are you doing in the mall Tay?"
She calls him Tay? Well I guess it's true I am just a nobody.i didn't listen to more they said I just watched as she hugged Taylors hand and sweetly talked to him fluttering her eyes.
Way to celebrate my birthday. Two in a row with the worst news? The heavens must really hate me huh.
