Chapter 62 - Episode 62; No Life Is Perfect

[Miss Anna responded back to Lefah on her way to the kitchen] "Okay, and don't worry. Food will be ready soon. Poor cookers."

"What's the meaning of what you just said, Miss Anna?" [Garriso smiled]

"Hey, mommy said nothing Garriso."

"Are you sure, ma'am?' [Lefah continues immediately]

"Yeah, for sure, boys." [Miss Anna continues]

[Both] "Okay..."

Immediately Miss Anna left them in the living room to the kitchen, Lefah joined Garriso on the living room sofa, giggled and said, "Hey, I'm sorry for not listening to your words about Homie Gee. "

[Garriso sighs] "Hey, you are sorry about what, huh? Lefah. "You want those gangsters as friends, but not me, and I was trying to stop you, but you didn't allow me to do that, and you see the stupid act they just came and caused?"

"Hey, bro. I understand, that's why I'm sorry for not listening to your words. "

"But I don't understand the reason why they came here to disturb Miss Anna. "Hey, let me tell you one thing, they're your friends, so talk to them because if they try it again, they won't like me bro."

"Yeah, I got your back bro. I'm going to do that any time we meet them at the old street NBA court, bro."

"I don't care, and you should do that because I'm not going to take that stupid act from them again, understand?"

[Garriso walked away from the living room to their bedroom. Immediately, he finished talking to Lefah and left him on the living room sofa.]

"Hey, where do you think you're going, my man?" [Lefah giggles]

[Garriso didn't mind him and opened their bedroom door and got inside.]

[Door opens and closed]

[Lefah sighs and stands up from the living room sofa and runs after Garriso to the bedroom.] "Like demn, bro."

[Door opens and closed]

"Hey, what do you think you're doing, bro?" [Lefah jumped on the bed.]

[Garriso was still pretending to be mad at Lefah for not listening to his words. So, he didn't mind Lefah when he was talking to him in the bedroom.]

[An hour later in Lefah and Garriso's bedroom] [Lefah's voice when Garriso was already at sleep] "One thing I have learned in this life is, man can never live a perfect life on this earth, no matter how hard you try to make things right. You may think what you're doing is right, but in the eyes of people around you, you are totally wrong. But I think life can be easier to live, but not a perfect life, when you have a mother, a brother, a friend, a father or sister, [a family] who tells you when you are wrong. Just like my brother, Garriso. That's what you need and those people around you, not a perfect life."

[The next morning at Rigby High School football team camp. The players were already training with their team coaches on the training ground…]

[Training day three.]

Coach Theodore's hard work has been notified ever since he agreed to work with the Rigby High School football team years back. Coach Theodore is a full black American but doesn't have it shown in his sink color. Mr. Theodore looks familiar, just like those white men in the United States, but a black American. Coach Theodore had experience of coaching or training running backs because he had 35 years playing in the American football league in the 90s as a professional footballer, [Running back].

Nobody knows, but players really enjoy their moments when Coach Theodore is the one training them. Even the smile on players' faces when training with Coach Theodore speaks about how comfortable they are. Indeed, Coach Theodore is a legendary coach. Lefah, Garriso and two other players were training, and smiling with the assistant head coach, Mr. Theodore.

Coach Theodore's voice: "Years back in the 90s. When I was 12 years old, I told my family that I wanted to become a footballer or to play football because I wish to be a legend one day. The first time I mentioned playing football, the whole family, um, you know, Mom and dad's mood changed at the dinner table immediately. My dad got angry and didn't even let me explain my points or the reason why I wanted to play football. They all walked away from me when we were eating. "My mom was a professional doctor in the biggest hospital in England and my dad was also a professional banker in the States."

"I made up my mind that I would play American football when I was in high school. Because my family never liked my dream, so they didn't support me playing. One night, my mom came to my bedroom in tears asking me to choose between their professions. I told her I want none of their professions, but I want my own profession, which is to play football. Mom got furious immediately. I said that. I was trying to fix this, but they didn't listen to me. Because of this, my own dad told me he was no longer my real father, but my mom cheated on him with a footballer. That's why I also want to play football just like my real father. But those words were all lies from my dad."

"This fight between my mom and dad really shut me down not to play football again, but to follow their professions so that my family would leave happy, just like we used to always play. But so lucky for me. "My mom and dad mistakenly mentioned to me one grandfather, who was also an American footballer but not a famous footballer, because he had no support from both families, just like my family."

"I visited my grandfather at his house on a day when mom and dad were using him as an example for me to understand the reasons why they don't support or like the idea of me playing football. Of course, that was really true about what my parents said about my grandfather. "But my grandfather made it clear to me that it was all lies because he had no support from family, so it made him not like his dream, so he gave up on his dream too easily."
