Darren's POV
I sat down in the living room, as the maid ushered them in. This was one of the condos I had built in the city, for times when I needed to receive 'normal' guests or take some time away from the mansion. This time, it satisfied both needs well.
With legs crossed and my right arm stretched across the length of the sofa, they walked into the room with bowing heads. Silently, the maid excused herself and headed into the kitchen to round up the dinner preparations.
"You can obviously have a seat. Both of you."
My words jerked their minds back to reality, and the sisters looked at each other before taking the sofa that was placed opposite mine. They had worn proper dinner gowns; Mira was in a black full length sleeveless dress while Cherish donned a red knee-length gown with a curve over the shoulder and a thigh-high slit.
