Darren's POV
"So, where are we headed now?"
"My lord, please give me some time to gather my things. I will meet you in your room within ten minutes."
I waved him off, watching him dash off into a corner. I returned to my room alone, keeping my rage locked in. It was commendable that Maklev had managed to get himself in line. Right now, I was highly volatile and one misstep from him could cost him an arm.
My heavy steps threatened to crack the hard floor beneath me, my body's weight rising with my seething rage. I felt people walk past me, their shocked faces quickly communicating my thoughts. I heard a few words, but I didn't care. It was better to avoid them.
The only people deserving of my rage and punishment were the werewolves who hurt Diamond. She was the only person that really mattered to me right now. I would scour hell or the heavens to receive their souls if any of them died before they met their fate at my hands.
