We quickly reached the mountains, climbing without care for caution as we hopped on the jagged stones. I wasn't ready to follow the long road up, which was more convenient with this rush of wind in my hair.
Maklev was able to keep up, but it didn't do anything to wipe off the annoying scowl that he wore. It was easy for us, but he moved forward with difficulty, his ragged breathing a clear indication.
"In the town right above us, there are roughly ten of them."
The small towns scattered across the Apuseni mountains could cater to roughly a thousand people, some doing twice more than that. So having ten of them in a single town was a lot, considering that the pack had 87 members.
"How many Betas and Omegas are there?"
