"Padre, ¿puede detenerse? Sus preguntas están molestando a mi esposa y a mí." Luca growled, making the table fall silent. (Father, can you stop? Your questions are upsetting my wife and I)
Alonso's eyes darkened. "And how am u supposed to know that the woman you've gotten married to is not the enemy?!" He bellowed, equally annoyed as he glared at me. His Spanish accent made his words almost incomprehensible.
"I don't trust you!" He pointed at me with long, slightly wrinkled fingers. "There's something about you, and I'm going to find it out. Trust me when I do, I'll kill you myself!"
My heart skipped a beat at the cruel look in his eyes. From his angry outburst, I could tell he probably had some information about me or some hunch about me, but he wasn't sure. I had to be even more careful not to slip up. I wondered why unshed tears again stung the back of my eyes.
"Padre!" Luca yelled, slamming his hands on the table again. He was obviously displeased. "You're so selfish you can't just accept the fact that I'm now married. I don't care what you think. I'm married now, so you have no other choice but to uphold your end of the deal."
Alonso looked like he was about to burst, but Luca added, "We would be expecting our baby soon so you don't have to worry about that."
I kept my face lowered. I could see the smirk on Rosa's face as she added, "But Luca, I think tio is right. We really don't know this girl that we're allowing into our family." Her voice was so soft that one would almost think she cared for the family.
Luca turned to her. "No, Rosa. He is wrong about her."
With that, he took my hands and stormed out of the restaurant with me. I felt my stomach sink in sadness, and it wasn't just because Alonso hated me with passion, but because of my meal, which I didn't finish eating.
Luca was quiet through the ride home. I almost thanked him for standing up for me but I remembered that he warned exactly doing this for me. He was doing it to spite his father and to get a position.
I turned around to head into the house but he pulled me back into him and covered my lips with his. My heart raced as his lips dances furiously against mine for what seemed like forever.
I almost got lost in the allure of his lips until I remembered that there was a camera outside the mansion. He father wa probably watching us right now..
I sighed, turning to walk away once he let me go. There was no point hanging onto any hope of anything more between us. Besides he was my target, and that was all he would ever be.

My heart sunk when I awoke the next morning to the bed still as empty as it was the night before. Why did I feel a tinge of sadness? I had no idea.
No one mentioned anything to me about breakfast with family so I didn't bother getting dressed. I lay on the bed, staring into space. I had not gotten the chance to plan anything with Trevor since the Castillos invaded the mansion. Now I felt bored.
Luca had also not come into the room since he kissed me last night, leaving me with the room all to myself.
'All to myself,' I thought to myself, jumping up suddenly. I could use this time to check around for more clues and intel against him.
Pretending to yawn, I stared around the room, looking for hidden cameras but there was none except for one that pointed in the direction of his office. Hmm. I could already guess it.
There was something fishy in his office. But how would I get in without the camera noticing?
A knock came at the door shortly. I let out a sigh as I walked over to it. It was Sofia. I pulled her into a hug before she could deliver her message.
"Oh my God, I'm so sorry that you have to work for some one as cruel as Luca," I mumbled, patting her back before releasing her.
She muttered an inaudible thanks, avoiding my eyes. My heart sunk. Knowing Luca, he had probably threatened her to stay away from me. I patted her hands and she jumped slightly confirming my guess.
"Thank you, ma'am. Please, the Castillos are expecting you at the table," she announced, before turning to leave briskly.
I flet my insides burn in annoyance towards Luca. He had managed to scare away the only friend I had in the mansion. I wanted to confront him and hurt him with my words by Trevor reappeared in my mind with his warning.
My insides burned with passion to turn Luca in even all the more. Every of his cruel acts fuelled me even more to complete this mission.
Oh, Luca Castillo, by the time I'm done with you, you'll wish you listened to your father!

I wore a warm smile as I approached the dining table, seeing my innocent facade.
When I got to realise that Luca was no where to be found, I felt my heart quake in fear. I didn't want ri eat alone with his family. Who would protect me now from his fathers clutches?
"Good morning," I mumbled, walking further into the
I reluctantly sank into a seat, my smile faltering slightly. Alonso and Rosa barely acknowledge my greetings while the others mumbled greetings in response.
"So, wife, we all have been anticipating your husband since yesterday but you both left the dinner before us and now you are alone here. You both couldn't wait for us to finish dinner before you went home. I see you're really in love." Alonso stated, his tone icy.
"So then, you must probably know where he is. We haven't seen him since you both left us, what happened? Where is Luca?"
His question sounded like an accusation as his eyes glared into mine. "And were you guys able to make love yesterday? When are you going to give us an heir? After all, we came here to watch your love."
My heart skipped a beat. What kind of questions were these? What on earth was I supposed to say?
