"What the hell?" Jacob hadn't expected something like this. The three Alphas stared at the screen, not sure what to make of the video that had to be sent to them by an unknown sender that they were certain was Demus Tallich.
The video showed Lucky and Amanda, wearing the goofiest pajamas on the planet, laughing their asses off as they sipped coffee. They looked like they were having the time of their lives. Traven had been unable to hold back his own laughter, even with two Alphas glaring at him, because it was just one of the funniest things he had seen in a long time.
"Hey, chill out," he took a step back when Bret growled, "this is just so, it's just like Lucky to make the best of a bad situation. You have to admit, the pajamas are hilarious. The two of them together are comedy."
"How do we know this is even real? For all we know they are being tortured and forced to put on a show to take away our sense of urgency." Bret snapped back.
