After catching up with Eliza, he spotted Hunter heading into town and made a deal with Eliza. Randy said, "Look, thank you for the dog lessons, but I have a proposition for you." Eliza said, "I'm listening." Randy said, "I need to get to this human." Eliza said, "Wow. Great story." Randy said, "Anyway, his name is Hunter. Hunter Reed. About 5 ft tall, works in a food truck." Eliza said, "The werewolf hunter. That freak is your master. Wow, you're more of a werewolf hater than I thought." Randy said, "No. He's not my owner; he's my arch-enemy. He robbed and killed my father. And I need to get back what he stole." Eliza felt bad for Randy and said, "I'm sorry. We're friends, and I saved you countless times and taught you to be a real dog, but I'm not the doing favors type. I'm more there when you need her kind of pooch." Randy said, "Not even for a reasonable proposition." Eliza said, "Go on." Randy said, "I have a room full of meat back home." Eliza thought that sounded tasty, so she licked her lips. Randy said, "You get me to Hunter, and it's yours." Eliza said, "And why should I believe you?" Randy said, "Because of the strength..." Randy thought about it and decided to hide that he was a werewolf. So, he figured he couldn't say the werewolf oath. Randy said, "I mean, I never lie." Eliza said, "Deal. If you can keep up."
Eliza knocked Randy out of the way, and the dog catchers missed them. One of the dog catchers said, "You won't get away this time, Muttician." The other dog catcher said, "Yeah, not for the 42nd night in a row." Eliza said, "Nobody catches Eliza, the Great Muttician." Both dog catchers twirled their catch poles and got ready to fight. One of the dog catchers ran up to Eliza, and Randy got down and covered his eyes." Eliza then jumped onto one of the dog catchers, and the other tried catching her. Then Eliza jumped off, and the second dog catcher caught the first one with his catchpole. Eliza said, "Too slow." Eliza started running all over the place, and the second dog catcher tried smashing her since he had his partner hooped, but she escaped through a fence. Eliza then came back and made the two dog catchers beat each other up by running back and forth between them and making them beat each other with their catchpoles. Eliza then jumped in a dumpster, dug fast, and threw garbage in the dog catchers' faces. Randy was impressed by how skilled Eliza was. One of the other dog catchers shouted, "Muttician!" Eliza then grabbed a rope with her mouth, jumped onto the dog catchers, and tied them up. Eliza knocked their catchpoles on their heads to finish the job and trapped them in them. After finishing off the dog catchers, Randy told Eliza he was impressed. Eliza said, "Thank you. Like I said, they try to catch me but always fail. Now come on." Eliza hopped on a few boxes and jumped the fence, and Randy followed her.
Meanwhile, Randy's family was getting worried about him since he had been missing for two nights. They shouted for him, but Randy didn't answer because he wasn't home. Mrs. Wolf said, "We're going on patrol tonight. And we'll find Randy if it takes until morning." The werewolves then went looking for Randy, except for his Uncle Max, who didn't like Randy, whether he was his nephew or not.
Meanwhile, Randy followed Eliza to Hunter and his werewolf museum. Eliza said, "Well, here we are. Good luck." Randy looked at Eliza and got confused. Randy said, "Wait. You're not coming?" Eliza said, "Hey, the deal was I get you to Hunter, and you give me meat. It didn't say anything about me going into that horror show of a museum. Randy then went alone and saw Hunter working his food truck. Since Hunter was busy, Randy thought this was the perfect opportunity to sneak into Hunter's museum and steal the moonstone. Once Randy got near Hunter's werewolf museum, Hunter's werewolf cameras detected Randy. Since they did, Hunter opened the door to see the werewolf outside, but Randy hid so he wouldn't. Hunter looked around but didn't see any werewolves. While the door was open and Hunter was away, Randy snuck by Hunter and into his museum to look for the moonstone ring. Eliza saw what Randy did and said, "Clever pooch."
Once inside, Randy looked around and saw that the place looked creepy and scary. He first saw the skeleton of a werewolf and screamed at it. Then he ran off and bumped into a werewolf dummy. The dummy fell and almost fell on Randy, but Randy ran for his life, spotted the moonstone ring in a display case, and said, "There it is." Randy knocked the display case down and broke it open. Then the moonstone ring fell out, and Rnady picked it up with his mouth, but it broke. Randy said, "What? It's fake." Hunter scowled at Randy once he saw that Randy had broken the display case. Hunter asked, "What have you done, you mutt?" When Hunter pointed at Randy, his ring glowed on his finger, and Randy recognized it. Randy said, "That ring is mine." Since Hunter didn't speak werewolf, he only heard Randy barking. Hunter pulled the ring away from Randy, and it dimmed. Then he held it back up to Randy, and it glowed again. Hunter looked at Randy and said, "What are you?" Randy tried jumping and biting Hunter's finger to get the ring back so Hunter would stay away from him and the other werewolves. Then he growled at Hunter, so Hunter grabbed Randy and put him in a cage. Then Hunter grabbed the handle on the cage and took Randy to his lab in his food truck.
Once they got there, Hunter let Randy out of the cage, tied him up, and started to talk to him. Hunter said, "Just in case you're what I think you are." While Hunter had Randy, he pushed a button on his control panel and accidentally activated his laser, thinking it was his DNA scanner. Then it shot at Randy and set his tail on fire. Randy saw his tail on fire and said, "Ooh, hot, hot." Hunter then deactivated his laser, and Randy tried blowing out the fire on his tail. Hunter then sprayed Randy with a water bottle and put out the fire for him. Hunter said, "Oops, sorry." Randy took a deep breath and calmed down. When Eliza heard Randy scream, she figured he must be in trouble, so she headed to Hunter's food truck to save him. Hunter said, "Everyone loves the food truck guy, right? Ha, ha." Hunter then pointed at Randy and said, "Wrong. It's the food in my food truck for which they come. No one ever asks Hunter Reed about his day or comes to his werewolf museum. They all call me Hopeless Hunter and make fun of me."
Randy said, "Sounds like a real sob story, but have you ever considered giving up?" Randy continued talking, but Hunter just heard him barking. Hunter said, "Wow, such a loud bark. You know, since that night I saw that boy get eaten, I've been on the hunt for werewolves, and this ring has been helping me." Hunter held the ring up to Randy again, and it glowed again. Randy tried biting Hunter to get the ring back again, but he missed. Randy said, "Nobody got eaten that night. I am that boy." Randy kept talking to Hunter, but all Hunter heard was Randy barking at him. Hunter slammed his hand and stopped Randy from barking. Hunter said, "Shut up, you dang mutt." Then Hunter activated his DNA scanner and scanned Randy to determine his identity. Then, his data was printed, and he tore the paper out of the printer and read it.
Hunter said, "That's weird. According to this, you're one part boy, one part Alaskan Malamute, and one part wolf." Hunter tried touching Randy, but Randy nipped at Hunter so he would stay away from him. Since Randy wouldn't let Hunter anywhere near him, Hunter used his camera to take a picture of Randy's silver watch. Once he did, Hunter's computer analyzed the watch for anything peculiar. While analyzing the watch, Hunter heard a scratching sound at his food truck's window. Hunter said, "We're closed." Even though the person scratching at the window heard him, whoever it was just kept scratching at it. Hunter tried ignoring it, but the scratching was so annoying that he figured he had no choice but to answer it. Once he did, he didn't see anyone outside. Hunter shouted, "Well, whoever you were, you better not do that again, or I'll call the police." Randy got confused since no one was outside. Then he saw Eliza walk in through the door while Hunter looked out the window. Eliza said, "How's it going?" Randy struggled and whispered, "Sssh. What are you doing here?" Eliza whispered, "What does it look like? I'm saving you." Eliza tried biting through the ropes but was having a hard time.
Hunter turned around and saw Eliza trying to free Randy. Hunter said, "Hey, what are you doing with my specimen?" Eliza managed to get one of Randy's paws free. Then Eliza jumped over Hunter, and he got hit against his counter. Then Eliza tripped Hunter with her tail, and he fell to the ground. Then Eliza activated Hunter's laser, aimed it at Randy, and cut the other ropes on him. While Eliza was helping Randy escape, Hunter got up and tried to stop her. Hunter went after Eliza, but Randy bit Hunter's finger after getting out of his ropes and stole the moonstone ring back. Hunter said, "My ring." Randy then stashed the ring on himself and did what Eliza did to the animal control officers. He dug fast into Hunter's candy, hitting Hunter in the face. Hunter fell again, and Eliza and Randy escaped with the moonstone ring.
