The patient hesitated, looking at the long line and shaking his head.
"Everyone is here to see the doctor. It would be unethical for me to jump the queue."
Ivy River looked up, "Sorry everyone, just now Doctor King didn't see this patient. If word gets out, it would be negligence on our Medical University's part. So, I'm going to see this patient now. Do any of you have objections?"
Without waiting for a response, she continued, "I think you have no objections, so I'll treat you right here."
The patient was still in a daze as Ivy took his hand to check his pulse.
"Your body is damp and hot, and your tongue coating is yellow. Is your house quite humid?"
Ivy quickly diagnosed the problem while recording and asking, "Is acupuncture okay? It's better than taking medicine."
The patient shook his head, "My house is indeed quite humid. How did you know?"
