The massive beast charged towards the pair a massive smile plastered on its face. As it ran, more of the terrain was destroyed.
Due to its massive size and speed, rumbles were left in its dust. If a seismologist were present he would be praying to whichever God he believed in due to the magnitude nine quakes.
Marco floated in the air glaring at the beast. He knew that the beings from hell were not weak but causing earthquakes while simply running?
That in itself was another level of bullshit. When the beast was upon them he disappeared to the side ignoring Thanatos who had a happy smile on his face.
Thankfully he did, as the colossal Cerberus 'kidnapped' Thanatos in it's mouth joyfully springing away.
Marco stood slack jawed at the sight before him. seeing how his supposed mentor getting kidnapped by an oversized looking puppy was surreal.
He continued staring at the dog bound away happily with Thanatos as if it just received a treat. Snapping back to reality Marco's face paled at the thought of his mentor dying.
Marco cursed loudly before shooting off towards the beast. He was coming here to train with Thanatos, not see him get eaten. Cocking back his fist he prepared to attack the beast.
Power exploded from Marco at the center his eyes grew pitch black. The moment he invoked his power he disappeared and reappeared above the beast.
A face full of rage he screamed "YOU MUTT, THE HELL YOU THINK YOU'RE DOIN" as he punched down HARD.
The beast was immediately blasted into the ground, the destruction that simple attack brought about a massive explosion.
As the beast was blasted into the ground it roared in pain as it's limbs were sprawled out. It tried it's best to resist but the power crashing into it was simply too great for it to put up even a decent fight.
As the beast howled in pain a slobbering Thanatos came out of the beast's maw. He sighed loudly before power exploded with him at the center.
A pitch black haze rose from the ground engulfing everything. As the haze rapidly rose the howls of the Cerberus stopped as if something was alleviating it's pain.
"I think that's enough wouldn't you say?" Thanatos glared at Marco through the haze. From Marco's point of view he simply saw a pair of red eyes amid the haze glaring at him.
Marco screamed in surprise "Hang on, you're not dead?" After he screamed he immediately appeared Infront of Thanatos in a showcase of speed that stunned him.
A panicked Marco then began examining the death god in every conceivable manner checking to see if he was ok.
Thanatos started contemplating while Marco was checking if he was fine. Giving some thought, though to him it was normal. Being spirited away by a massive Cerberus was quite the issue.
This was especially the case if he thought that his supposed mentor was the target.
After thinking for a minute Thanatos face palmed, now that he thought about it Marco's reaction made sense.
Actually made sense was an understatement. If you see a someone being eaten wouldn't you step in to save the victim?
