[After gathering their equipment, Steve Rogers and his team drove to an airport in Germany. As they stepped out of the car, Clint Barton approached them with a casual wave.]
[The two shook hands firmly. "You know I wouldn't have called you unless I had no other choice," Steve said seriously.]
["Hey, man! You needed help, and I owe you one. Besides, I still have debts to pay," Clint replied with a smirk. He glanced toward Wanda Maximoff, who was walking toward them with her arms crossed.]
[Steve gave Wanda a grateful nod. "Thank you for standing by me."]
[She tilted her head slightly and shrugged. "It's about time I took action."]
["Where's the new guy?" Steve turned back to Clint.]
["Oh, he's eager!" Clint grinned, turning toward a van parked nearby. "Gave him some coffee—should be fine."]
[As he slid the door open, the noise startled Scott Lang, who had dozed off inside. He blinked in confusion before quickly stepping out.]
["Uh… What time zone is this?" Scott muttered groggily, rubbing his eyes.]
[Clint gave him a shove forward. "Come on, man, let's go!"]
[Scott stumbled slightly before his eyes widened in recognition. He extended his hand excitedly. "Captain America!"]
[Steve shook his hand with a warm smile. "Mr. Lang."]
[Scott was visibly starstruck. "Wow… What an honor! I think I've been holding your hand for too long—this is awesome! Captain America!"]
[Turning to Wanda, he added enthusiastically, "And you! You're amazing too!"]
[Wanda chuckled at his energy, while Scott, unable to resist, gave Steve's bicep a quick squeeze. "Oh my God," he murmured in awe.]
["Look, I know you know a lot of great people, so… thanks for thinking of me," Scott added sincerely.]
[Steve narrowed his eyes slightly, the corner of his lips curling up in amusement.]
[Scott then turned and pointed at Sam Wilson. "Hey! Man!"]
[Sam nodded coolly. "How's life?"]
[Scott awkwardly scratched the back of his head. "Uh… Nice to meet you! And, um… about that last time…"]
[Sam cut him off before he could finish. He had no intention of letting more people know about how Ant-Man had outmaneuvered him. That incident was best left in the past.]
[With a forced smile, Sam squinted at Scott. "Yeah, that was a great encounter. Just know—it won't happen again."]
[Steve brought the conversation back on track. "Did they tell you what we're up against?"]
[Scott turned back to Steve. "I heard something about… uh… some crazy assassins?"]
[Steve nodded. "What we're doing isn't sanctioned. If you come with us, you'll become a wanted man."]
[Scott blinked, then shrugged. "Yeah, I'm used to that."]
[Bucky, standing silently nearby, reminded them, "It's time to go."]
["We have a helicopter waiting," Clint added.]
[Just as he finished speaking, the airport loudspeaker blared, "Emergency! All passengers must evacuate immediately!"]
["They're clearing the airport," Bucky noted calmly.]
[Sam folded his arms. "Stark."]
[Scott looked over in shock. "Stark?!"]
[Steve exhaled, already expecting this. "Suit up."]
Tony Stark watched the footage with a frown. "Who the hell is that? Are we seriously getting more heroes out of nowhere? Where are they all coming from?"
Too many new faces were showing up all at once. He instructed J.A.R.V.I.S. to pull up data on Scott Lang. His records weren't exactly classified, and within seconds, J.A.R.V.I.S. had compiled everything on him.
At this point, Scott hadn't yet been imprisoned for the Vista robbery, making him look fairly clean—though he had lost his job for whistleblowing.
Meanwhile, Scott himself was completely baffled. He was just an ordinary guy. How had he ended up connected to all this? Before he could wrap his head around it, he got a call from the police, instructing him to stay home.
Scott frowned. His plan to hack Vista's security hadn't even happened yet, so what evidence could they possibly have? He was confident they had nothing on him—he was still a model citizen, at least technically. So, he decided to just sit tight and wait.
Elsewhere, Phil Coulson and Natasha Romanoff were already on their way to find Scott. They were close enough that there was no need for a Quinjet—just a quick retrieval mission.
At the same time, J.A.R.V.I.S. successfully tracked Wanda and Pietro Maximoff. Tony didn't hesitate—he had to get to them first before anyone with bad intentions did.
Tony skimmed their files. The twins were war orphans, but the details of how they lost their parents were unclear. He didn't dwell on it—he just needed to move.
Nick Fury, having assessed the situation, gave Clint clearance to take the Quinjet. Steve immediately decided to go with him. No matter what, Wanda was part of his team. He couldn't leave her behind.
[After suiting up, Steve Rogers took the lead, sprinting toward the waiting helicopter. Just as they neared it, a small projectile shot out from an unknown source.]
[In an instant, the helicopter's electrical systems shorted out, smoke billowing from the propellers. Steve skidded to a stop.]
[Above them, Tony hovered in his Mark armor, extending his arm toward the damaged chopper. Rhodey descended beside him in his War Machine suit.]
[They landed in front of Steve, standing side by side. Tony smirked. "Isn't it funny how we always run into familiar faces at airports? Weird, right?"]
[Rhodey nodded in agreement. "So weird."]
["Listen to me, Tony!" Steve pleaded. "That psychiatrist—he's behind all of this!"]
[Before Tony could reply, another figure emerged—Black Panther, landing gracefully beside them. "Captain."]
["Your Majesty," Steve acknowledged him with a nod.]
[Tony cut in impatiently. "Look, Ross gave me thirty-six hours to bring you in. We're down to twelve. Help me out here, man."]
[Steve stood firm. "You've got the wrong guy."]
[Tony's jaw tightened. "Your judgment is clouded! Your buddy killed a lot of innocent people yesterday."]
["There are five more super soldiers like him! I can't let that doctor get to them first, Tony. I won't."]
[Steve's voice was resolute, unwavering. He didn't want to fight Tony, but he wouldn't back down either.]
["Steve," Natasha's voice called from behind. He turned to see her standing there, arms crossed. "You know what comes next. Are you really going to fight your way out again?"]
[Steve didn't answer. He just turned back to Tony, meeting his eyes in silence.]
