Montana's mansion was a sprawling estate with vast gardens stretching out everywhere. The garden paths, meticulously laid out with stones, led to a golf course and a magnificent swimming pool at the rear. Every entrance and exit was fortified with armed security.
The mansion's grand hall was a cavernous space adorned with lush red carpets, lofty ceilings, and intricate iron chandeliers shaped like skeletal hands. In the centre stood an imposing elevator flanked by grand staircases curving upwards on either side.
Four vigilant guards stood watch, two at each entrance to the staircases. The staircase ascended to the first floor, where one could turn and take additional stairs to reach the second, third, fourth, and fifth floors.
The fifth floor was where Victor Montana was in his room.
He wore a sharply tailored suit that hinted at a life of elegance and brutality. His well-ironed shirt, sleeves rolled up, revealed muscular forearms scarred from past conflicts. Slicked-back silver hair contrasted starkly with his rugged face, marked by a jagged scar that split his left eyebrow and continued below his eye.
Sitting on a chair, near the window, he held a wine glass in his hand filled with wine and shouted out.
"More than twenty-four hours have passed and no one has any goddamn ANSWERS!"
Breaking the wine-filled glass with his hand. A mixture of wine and blood dripped from the table and then onto the floor.
People were sitting across the room, along with the securities standing at the main entrance and his assistant Mr... at his side trying to wipe off the blood and wine from the table,
Some of the people around the room were shocked by his actions, and some of them remained calm, they all wore professional uniforms, and one of the people from their place spoke out.
"W-we are all government o...officials, and like you asked we have gathered here,"
Victor spoke calmly but with a cold voice.
"SO?"
"A-and we will do everything But the files… regarding Y-Y...your son they're all locked. We can't—"
Victor walked from his chair to the person speaking. Victor was a tall man, with a height of six feet and seven inches, and the person who was speaking was somewhere around his shoulder.
Victor glared at him and raised his hand, slapping him so hard that the man fell on the ground and was bleeding from his ears and lips.
"You think I give a fuck about rules! Bring me those files, or I'll burn you and your families alive!"
"Calm down, Sir Victor, but I think these people are trying their best, but this might have been done by anyone, given the young master's attitude and the conditions that we were in with the other gangs."
"Hump!"
The quietness prevailed in the room as his assistant was picking the fallen person up, Victor walked from there, picked up the wine bottle filled another glass and spoke while drinking a few sips from it.
"I'm in a bad mood, if you guys don't have anything then scramble from here, and on your way out meet with Gellar, he will 'help' you guys with things."
The government officials hurried themselves out of his room, they all were terrified. And knew he wanted revenge for his son and he would do anything for that.
Victor stared out the window and was drinking quietly when he saw a black car entering Montana's residence, he had never seen this car previously and as soon as the car came to a stop in front of the main door, a person was going to come out of the back seat suddenly vanished.
Victor heard the sound of the door opening, he saw a person entering inside.
Seven feet tall, he donned a simple white shirt and matching pants, complemented by an entirely plain and simple white mask marked with visible red patches scattered across his outfit.
Victor spoke, "Big brother Gar?"
The person in front removed his mask and kept it on the table as he walked towards him.
Garfin Montana, Victor's elder brother, is thinner than Victor but longer in height, with cold eyes and a burnt scar on his neck that continues to his forehead. His face was very smooth and bright like the ones who are always innocent.
"What's wrong with your clothes, is that the smell of blood?"
"What's wrong with my clothes, why is there such a smell coming from them, where was I.... cut with that bullshit... your main question should have been have I found something related to Emilieo?"
"Y-Yeah..."
Victor thought,
"Ugh, Just what had he even been doing... how could you walk so freely with those blood-stained clothes also being the leader of the top fifteenth guild across the whole world!"
"So... What's the news on Emilieo, any updates."
"N-No, but I've been trying to do--"
He shouted,
"Stop, you've done nothing! I just can't stand that there is a person or a fucking gang out there... that has the fucking guts to mess with MONTANA'S."
"My men are close, to finding what happend. We even send a magic and power analyst on the scene."
"And how is Emilieo's Mom holding up?"
"Fine..., could have been worse... but-"
Garfin laughed. "Your men are worthless."
He poured a drink in one of the glasses kept on top of the cabinet.
"Remember, I don't care what happens if you don't find the killer... I'll burn this city myself."
Victor felt a chill in his spine and got scared and spoke.
"I...I understand... it won't come to that, I've already taken certain precautions, as we are speaking my members are already out there hunting that filth."
Victor's men were busy Hunting down gangs and specific people as they were given the order, they didn't care about the innocent lives that were involved in scenes like,
Chasing the Important people from the local gangs like the Black Crescent,
"Catch that fucker he's trying to escape..."
"Yes sir!!!"
The person being chased down was the leader of 'Black Crescent' with an average height of five feet he ran like crazy through the crowds of people on the street, breaking all the laws he jumped from the signals at one of the cars and Victor's guard chasing them said.
"I don't care what happens, catch that fucker alive! He has already been injured and is bleeding."
"Yes sir, using my Power."
Power activated {Strenght: Buffed}.
Saying those things they also jumped at the oncoming cars, that one of the guards had used strengthening power so all of his body was buffed and he crashed himself unknowingly into the oncoming traffic.
One of the chasing people was using wind magic to chase and track the leader, the leader was standing on top of the moving car smiling and shouting.
"Fucking Montana's, I've never stood in your ways, and followed the peace so why chase me so much?"
One of the guards who was chasing the top of a car behind him said.
"It's cause you are a suspect in the killing of the young master of Montan's Family."
"Fuckers... Never even did that thing."
"Says the guy who has been running away."
"That's a give, you guys suddenly barged into our hideout and slaughtered my guys, but at least I'll take the revenge for their death."
He removed his shirt threw it on the road and took a fighting stance raising his left hand with a clenched fist and right hand below his left and said.
"Thunder martial skill..."
"Hey, he is using his Power... retreat back--"
"Thunder Base-Lighting fists."
Power skill activated {Lightning base fist}.
As his skill got activated lightning currents from his legs came out, damaging the cars nearby, and the car he was standing on exploded killing the people present inside he lept from there and reached behind the person who was in the air.
"One..."
punched him down midair sending him crashing into the middle of the road and moved from there attacking the person who had jumped from the car then suddenly.
"No-No-NO... Oh... NO, You don't."
A person came from above and grabbed the head of that leader and said that, and smashed his face in the road.
"Why cause so much trouble~"
The other guards from nearby came there and said,
"Thank you, sir! we will take it from here."
"Yeah, yeah... I just thought that this would be interesting ~ but it's wrong."
He had brown, messy hair with two distinct strips on both sides of his head. His voice was slow and somewhat lazy, giving off an air of indifference. He wore a black high-neck and black pants, blending into the shadows with ease. In his hand, he held a sword that looked very unique.
The scabbard was a striking combination of deep crimson, midnight blue, and silver, with intricate patterns etched along its length. The colours blended seamlessly, creating a sense of movement and fluidity. The handle of the sword was wrapped in black leather, providing a firm grip for its wielder.
Similarly, these special people from Victor's side were helping catch the important people or leaders of the gangs that had any kind of animosity against Montana. Leader of Red Wolves, Grey mantis and a few more.
Victor's phone buzzed. A mail was sent to him along with a link to the video that showed his men attacking another gang hideout. He had placed his chief enforcer, Frederich to supervise and plan all the attacks, gather all information and report it to Victor's main assistant.
"Four gangs are gone, the last one will be breaking soon," Victor said.
Garfin replied to Victor's statement
"Too slow."
The brothers stared at each other, the clock was ticking loudly, Victor was feeling the tension in the environment and said
"Let us go in that room, I had asked Frederich to prepare a 'map' for us"
Under the mansion, in a secret room, Victor and Garfin studied a map. Red dots marked gang areas—most of which were now blacked out, which meant destroyed then Victor moved and went near the cabinet placed under the map that was being displayed on the wall.
"Frederich had found something, while he was on the mission."
"Better be something important."
Victor removed an evidence packet in which there was a bloody and broken phone, he removed and threw it to Garffin.
A video played: Emilieo, alive and laughing in a club, hours before he died.
Garfin's scar turned red with anger. "Who took this video?"
"A drug addict. Sold it for a few exclusive pills, He said that they have analysed the videos and found out the killer, he is working for… the Krylovs."
Garfin was expresionless . The Krylovs were Russian mobsters—cold, cruel, and rich. They didn't operate in the city but were rumoured to sell people overseas.
Garfin questioned,
"Why target Emilieo? and when did they grew a pair of balls to attack Montana's?"
Victor answered,
"Power, fear, warning, or 'Revenge'..."
