Chapter 119 - 118

The person delivering the report was drenched in sweat.

Despite being a leader of a faction in his base area and a significant figure in the outer areas of Meteor Street, his status was incomparable to Manda and her two companions.

Frankly, given the authority and rights of Manda's team, they wouldn't hesitate to kill him if they deemed it necessary.

"Leave now. I don't care if the target has truly left Meteor Street; you have one last night. By dawn tomorrow, if you haven't found any trace of them, you won't need your head on my neck," Manda warned coldly, her voice dripping with menace.

The man opened his mouth to protest but ultimately held his tongue, knowing this was how the weak were treated.

As he left in despair, Manda furrowed her brow, lost in thought.

"Could they really have escaped..."

The possibility was high.

Though she had ordered a blockade of Meteor Street immediately upon arrival, given the target's strength, it was very possible they could have slipped through unnoticed.

The thought of returning to Elder Vivian empty-handed sent a chill through Manda.

Beside her, Jason and Paula also frowned.

"Manda, let's lead our teams and search outside," Paula suggested, glancing at Manda.

Paula, a woman with striking red phoenix eyes, held a rapier close to her chest.

"I agree. I'm not ready to give up yet," Jason added in a deep voice.

Like many of Vivian's male subordinates, Jason possessed a robust physique and distinctive features. His left eye was blind, and his face bore scars, seemingly from a vicious clawing.

"Alright, let's plan to take action in an hour," Manda nodded, accepting their proposal.

After Gina's failure, Manda was cautious. Alongside Jason and Paula, two warriors as strong as herself, she had brought twenty elite Nen users.

Based on Ethan's classification, each of these elite Nen users was a second-rate Nen practitioner, representing a formidable force.

It was as if the world was divided in two.

Beneath the real world lay a hidden green space, a separate dimension known as the Gate Fruit space.

While Manda, Jason, and Paula discussed their plans, they were unaware that, in the same location but a different dimension, three pairs of eyes silently observed them.

"The personnel count is confirmed. Besides these three, there are twenty Nen users in the building. They likely hail from the inner city," Lisa whispered, standing beside Ethan and Mia, observing Manda's group through the dimensional barrier.

"Let's move. It's dark now. After lying low for so long, it's our turn to strike back," Lisa said, her fists clenching with determination.

Ethan nodded slightly, "Alright, I'll handle these three. The rest are yours."

"No problem!"

"Leave it to us!"

Lisa and Mia nodded, their eyes flashing with resolve.

Despite the majority being sent to search, many remained to guard the base.

Outside the building, the lights illuminated the night, providing natural cover in the darkness.

Crunch!

On the cleared road, a door's outline suddenly appeared in the air, swinging open as a figure shot out like lightning.

"Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation!"

The figure was Ethan, his expression cold and focused.

Before the guards could react, Ethan completed his jutsu seals. His chest expanded as he unleashed a torrent of searing flames.

Boom!!!

A monstrous wave of fire surged forward, spanning tens of meters and towering over 20 meters high.

In one fell swoop, the guards, the building, and neighboring structures were engulfed in flames, illuminating the night with a dazzling inferno.

"Ah!!!!"

First, the guards outside, then those inside the building, screamed as the flames consumed them.

The massive firestorm collapsed the building, creating chaos and destruction.

The flames raged, covering over a hundred meters, radiating intense heat and distorting the air.

Through the fiery haze, Ethan spotted figures fleeing the collapsed ruins, only to be incinerated before reaching safety.

Boom!!!

Suddenly, a fierce hurricane erupted within the flames, dispersing the inferno.

"Wind?!"

Upon seeing the hurricane, Ethan's eyes flickered, sensing danger as his heart raced with anticipation.

He ceased his fire breath, activating his Aura Nodes to envelop himself in a protective aura.

"Drink!!!"

The hurricane was just the beginning. A powerful figure emerged, charging toward Ethan with a momentum that parted the flames.

The figure, exuding a fierce aura, sprinted with his arms, crushing the ground beneath his feet. With a roar, he swung his right arm, aiming a punch directly at Ethan's face.
