Ethan grimaced. The Queen barely flinched under the enhanced fireball—her armor had absorbed the brunt of the impact, and even the searing flames hadn't pierced deep enough. But he wasn't about to give up now.
Shouting the words of power again and again, Ethan hastily finished the hand signs and spewed out more fire and then some more fire. However, it looked like the intensity of his attack was simply not enough. He did manage to make some cracks, but that was it.
Ethan did not mind. He only smiled. He knew he was lacking in the mage department. Heck, this was the reason why he had joined the academy in the first place. However, these basic spells were not the only weapons in his arsenal.
He used minor teleportation and quickly moved from the spot, once again putting distance between him and the termite queen.
