Chapter 100 - Fairness In Cruelty

While Arabella and Cassius had slowly loosened the knots between them, the castle was thrown into an uproar as Lady Genevieve had rushed the servants to call the vampire doctors. While taking out a fang of a vampire was always a gesture to show power and dominance, the act of pulling a vampire fang was no less deadly than a stab in the heart with a silver blade. 

Their fangs were connected to a nerve in their heart. If the act wasn't done carefully, it could kill them. 

One knows that Cassius wasn't gentle or careful. He didn't take into consideration whether his cousin would survive, pulling the fang in such a way that was enough to make every vampire who had witnessed it to shudder in fear. 

The servants who were cleaning the blood began to murmur to themselves, 

"It's His Highness's punishment. I heard Lady Adele was the one who had crossed him."
