Seeing both Mother and Father agree with her, Luna puffed out her chest, looking all proud while mocking me at the same time. Before I could even reply—still feeling betrayed by them—my thoughts raced. At the very least, they could have supported me somewhat. But no, they just had to side with her.
Grinning mischievously, Luna said, "Honestly, big brother, I was expecting something grand like Celestara Varethion Peaks… But Endless Mountains? Really?"
I shot back, "But they're almost endless!"
Mother shook her head. "Just because something appears endless doesn't mean you can just slap 'Endless' onto its name along with 'Mountains,' now does it?"
And then, to make matters worse, my father added the finishing blow. He clapped a hand on my shoulder, still shaking with laughter. "Don't take it too hard, son. Naming things is an art—one that, evidently, still eludes you."
