"Go away!" Isadora barked, her lips quivering.
This should make her feel better, she had been at it for hours and it was perfect. The image of Kraven and Nyssa slowly erased itself from her head.
The more she shot the arrow the more it hurt and a fragment of that image broke.
But she needed more.
Just a little more and she could completely forget what she saw. Stop this twisted feeling in her stomach, stop this pain in her chest that wants to drown her.
Why was she feeling this way? She was just his plaything. She should expect this, and it doesn't matter how much her heart beats when she saw him or how much desire overtook the fear she had for him.
None of these matters.
It doesn't change the fact that she was just a plaything.
"I can't, even if I wanted to, I'm your dog, remember?"
Logi's words pulled her out of her mind. He was another person she didn't want to deal with right now. He was insufferable just as Kraven was.
