Isadora released a sharp breath, eyeing what she had just accomplished, she didn't get a bullseye but she hit the targets.
All five of them. But it wasn't enough.
Isadora reached for another arrow but a tap on her shoulder stopped her, she turned and found Vanya staring at her with a worried expression.
"Vanya," Isadora said, forcing a smile on her lips.
Gods! It was so fake and Vanya didn't need to play along, it was obvious she was not okay. "What happened out there?"
Isadora stiffened knowing what she meant. "It wasn't a spar, someone had to stop it."
Vanya shook her head. "You don't understand do you?"
Isadora stared at her confused.
Vanya exhaled sharply. "I thought you had feelings for Rav."
"What?!" She took a step back. "I-I don't!" Saying the words out loud was a gagging realization for Isadora.
It was almost like she had come to some fruition. She admired him for his kind heart and he was always nice to her ever since she was taken away from that brothel.
