"When she touched you," she said again as that pain surfaced, the last thing she wanted and yet it came.
At first, confusion took over Kraven's gaze but then they morphed into realization. A slow lazy smirk curled his lips. "Did I?" he taunted. "Are you jealous, Isadora?"
Her teeth clenched, he was playing with her again. He always was.
And jealous? That was the last thing she should feel. Or she thought…
"You can touch whoever you want." The words felt like sand in her mouth and the tightening sensation in her chest came forth.
He leaned closer. "You were busy yourself. His attention was welcomed."
