"They're gaining too much information on us," Nyssa said worriedly. "We have to stop them."
"Taking on the Five Courts now is too much work, we're not ready." Logi voiced the truth they all knew, they may have the manpower to do the needful but it was too careless.
'Kraven knows this too,' he thought with certainty and then it hit him harder than ever forcing a smile on his lips.
Logi turned his head to Kraven. "But you do know this, Kraven, and that isn't why you called this meeting, yes? You're not going after the Court yet."
"I'm going after the Serpents," Kraven declared.
"Purely because they are puppets of the Five Court or…" Logi trailed as his eyes descended on Isadora who was mentally not present at the moment.
Logi chuckled knowingly as he turned away.
"Why else would you go after the Serpents if not to weaken the Five Court's reach?" Rav asked, confused.
