Pokémon: A New Journey Begins
Chapter 1: Rebirth in Pallet Town
The last thing I remembered before darkness consumed me was the sound of honking horns and the screeching of tires. Then, silence. When I opened my eyes, I was in a cozy bedroom, sunlight streaming through the window. The room was simple, with posters of Pokémon battles on the walls and a wooden desk cluttered with Poké Balls and books. Something about the setting felt familiar, yet surreal.
I sat up and rubbed my head. "Where… am I?"
A quick glance in the mirror revealed a younger version of myself — or at least, a version of someone else. Messy black hair, bright brown eyes, and a curious expression stared back at me. I was a child again, no older than ten.
Before I could process this strange new reality, a familiar voice called out from downstairs.
"Hey, Kaito! Ash is here to see you!"
Ash? No way.
Heart pounding, I hurried downstairs. Sure enough, standing by the door was a boy with spiky black hair, a red cap, and a huge grin on his face.
"Hey, Kaito! Are you ready? Today's the day we get our first Pokémon!"
It hit me like a Thunderbolt — I was in Pallet Town, and that was Ash Ketchum, the future Pokémon Champion.
Professor Oak's lab was bustling with excitement. Ash and I stood side by side, barely able to contain our enthusiasm. The Professor greeted us with his usual warm smile.
"Ah, Ash and Kaito! I've been expecting you both. Are you ready to start your journey as Pokémon Trainers?"
Ash was practically bouncing on his heels. "You bet I am!"
I nodded, keeping my excitement in check. If this was my new reality, I wasn't going to let Ash get too far ahead of me. This was my chance to live in the world of Pokémon — a dream come true.
Professor Oak led us to a table with three Poké Balls. "You'll each choose a starter Pokémon from here."
Ash reached out eagerly, but the Professor stopped him.
"Wait! There's one more thing."
He turned to me. "Kaito, you'll be making a unique choice today. You'll have the option of choosing from a Pokémon I recently acquired."
The Professor revealed a fourth Poké Ball, its surface shining slightly brighter than the others. My heart raced as I reached out and picked it up.
Releasing the Pokémon inside, I gasped.
"Eevee!"
A small, brown fox-like creature appeared, tilting its head curiously at me. I knelt down and patted its soft fur.
"I choose you, Eevee."
Ash grinned. "Then I'm picking Pikachu!"
With our Pokémon by our side, Ash and I set out from Pallet Town. The sun was rising on the horizon, painting the sky with hues of pink and orange.
Ash turned to me with a determined look.
"Kaito, let's promise to become the best Pokémon Trainers in the world. No matter what happens, we'll always push each other to be better."
I nodded, a smile tugging at my lips. "You're on, Ash. Let's make this journey legendary."
Little did we know, our adventure would be filled with challenges, battles, and a friendship that would change the world of Pokémon forever.
To be continued...
