An loud knocking sound thumped on the holographic-magenta cylinder containment on the edge right of the underground laboratory. Cantos's fist repeatedly nicked the containment, and he frowned worriedly. His wife, Marla, dropped her devastated jaw toward the person inside.
They witnessed their son, Gdark inside the containment with the breezy smoke showered upon him, recently having all his burnt marks wiped out. Specifically, all the coal-black burnt skin was reverted into his clean-white one, marking his healing process end mark. It led him to open his sleepy eyes sluggishly, gaining a blurry sight of his parent.
Nonetheless, Gdark pushed his hefty body and tapped the holographic glasses, evaporating all the clouding smoke that engulfed him. Noticing their son had awakened, the old couple took a few steps back, allowing him to slide the holographic door to the left. He jumped out from the healing containment, smoothly landing in a duck position and lifting his numbed legs to regain a stand.
"My son, what happened to you?" Cantos asked, pushing the staff forward to get closer to his son.
Gdark politely gestured his opened hand forward, pausing his father from moving forward as he wiped out the smoky remains on his leg. He heedfully scanned at his mother who gritted her petrified jaw at him, convincing him to shrug it off. Then, he returned his sharpened glare at his father, gushing out the huge chink of hefty air from his throat.
"Having a bad experience with The Annoying Cosmic Being's attack in short, Former Hero of Gloricon," Gdark admitted reluctantly, rolling his stiffed left arm until it roared a bone-cracking noise.
"Wait…what do you mean by…that, Gdark?" Marla joined the conversation with an uncertain look
Gdark grinned and crossed his hand haughtily, "Since you demand an explanation, I shall give you one, Mrs.Minister. Also, why do you still stay here? I thought you had work tonight.
"Stop using a nickname to call me for once, Gdark!!" Marla bittered, biting her boiling jaw that provoked her son to chortle.
"Fine, I will jump to the main point," Gdark uttered, tilting his head to the left.
"I received a severe injury after enduring one devastating attack from The Infamous Rogue, Pendoswing," Gdark explained coldly.
Marla gasped in horror and shook her head, "Wait…you meant you almost got yourself killed alone by him?"
"If so, why didn't you call The Triumph Makers to help you in the first place?" Marla argued frantically. "Why must you face the lunatic cosmic being? Is it because you wanted to satisfy your ego!?"
Gdark burst into delighted laughter, "It's more like completing my information related to his capability."
"Since your tiny mind couldn't comprehend, then you should stay quiet Mrs.Minister," Gdark taunted.
In burning vexation, Marla clenched her fist and headed closer toward her son who gave a cold glare. As The Minister tried to grab her son by the collar, Cantos lifted his open hand that halted his step. At first, she darted her dumbfounded stare before staring at her husband who shook his head reluctantly.
"Enough taunting your mother, Gdark," Cantos scolded his son who exhaled a cold air and shrugged it off.
"She only acted like this because she was concerned about your well-being," Cantos added, gritting his incited jaw.
Gdark chuckled, "I already knew that."
"Ever since you came back, you acted more like a careless jerk," Marla muttered, dropping her line of tears.
"As a mother, of course, I'm worried sick about you, especially with the son who loves to challenge death," Marla expressed, cleaning the incoming tears. "Why couldn't you understand it?"
"I did understand, but I'm more focused on fulfilling more important priorities," Gdark uttered, tapping his black watch.
"Your concern is only a nuisance," Gdark added, spinning the black watch to the right.
Magenta particles swiftly enveloped Gdark's body as he walked past his parent, swiping his arm to the right. Hence, the particles vanished into thin air, and The Ace Duelist armored spawned on their naked eyes, returning his Viscable to the room. A contempt furrow burnt through Marla's sight when her son switched his stare to the center.
"Can you please just listen to me for once?" Marla demanded. "Stop chasing your crazy dream to become a best or whatever."
"Instead, why not just become a normal superhero, Gdark!!" Marla added, rubbing her shirt in desperation. "A superhero who only cares to save anyone else and stop any kind of threats in here."
"Do you think reaching your stupid life goal is the right way?" Marla argued, constantly panting. "Also, do you think it can even satisfy you?"
Grim silence occurred in Viscable as he breathed out a couple of heavy breaths from his throat, whirling his glowing hand to the right. Afterward, The Ace Duelist turned around and centered his stare toward his mother, evoking the growing magenta swarm throughout his body.
"Satisfy? It will be answered when I reach the goal, old woman," Viscable responded nonchalantly.
Marla grunted, "You seem pretty good at ignoring my point."
"Fine, I have one more point for you," Marla bickered. "Do you think being to obsessed with your goal can make your lovely woman happy?"
"Make her happy if I stop my goal? You get in my nerve, old woman" Viscable was baffled, clenching his knuckle. "Reaching my goal is only for satisfying myself and she is only a trophy girl when I succeed in it."
Marla rolled her eyes, "What the hell are you talking about?"
"As I told you before, you never understood anything," Viscable affirmed, tapping the watch.
"Gdark, stop taunting your mother!!" Cantos raised his voice, forming his disdain glare at his son.
"She did this because she still cares about your well-being, Gdark," Cantos argued, encouraging his wife to frown. "At least, you emphasize her point, not treating her as a mocking obstacle."
"And here is my advice for you, don't be too obsessed with your path," Cantos added. "Because I am afraid you, my beloved son, will become a new threat to the rest of the world…."
"And I don't want it to happen!!" Cantos finished his sentence in frustration, triggering his son to move his sight from them and loosening his clenching knuckle. "Gdark, if your goal is only to persuade power, it will only lead to more suffering."
Viscable sighed and countered firmly, "About that possibility, we shall see in the future, former hero."
"For now, I'm only interested in toppling The Annoying Cosmic Being with everything I got," Viscable exclaimed.
"I have more important things to do. We might discuss this problem again later" The Ace Duelist asserted, taking one step forward.
"Also, if you dare to intervene now, I will have no hesitation in using force on you two," Viscable warned his parent bleakly.
His parent could only freeze their appalled gaze at The Ace Duelist who unbridled more magenta particles on his back. He gave one last glance at Cantos and Marla before returning his attention to the front, disintegrating all the magenta particles on his back as he slowly stepped forward.
"Send me to my Langorold's Weapon Factory now!!" The Ace Duelist commanded, gulping and clearing his throat
Massive waves of bluish particles spontaneously sprung from the depth of the ground, gathering on Viscable's center spot. Eventually, the particles flickered the bright green flashes and formed a door-shaped portal. Chilling wind gushed from the portal, persuading Cantos and Marla to raise their blocking arms with its intense pressure.
"See you later, my parents," The Ace Duelist initiated a bid of farewell, stepping inside the active door.
The Ace Duelist imminently entered into the active portal that swallowed his entire body faster than the blink of an eye. At last, Viscable presence was no longer available inside the laboratory when the portal shrunk until no longer revealing any of its remains. It left Cantos to gasp in exhaustion and tighten his staff, while Marla sobbed in misery and shakily covered her face.

The door-shaped portal neatly spawned on the above side of the room, filled with only gloomy darkness. Viscable swiftly walked out from the portal, stretching his hefty neck to the right. Hence, the portal door vaporized into thin air, convincing The Ace Duelist to snap his finger.
His recent action triggered a spacious light to radiate throughout the room, revealing the humongous object that soared the electrical strings beneath it. More specifically, The Ace Duelis stood on the top of the magenta board, clapping his hands and summoning the horde of holographic screens beside him.
"Before we go deeper, please tell me the current news from Earth, my Langorold's computer," The Ace Duelist ordered, driving his hand to the front.
Viscable sighed, "I didn't like missing out on an important matter."
All of the screens transitioned their presentation into recent news from an earth satellite, showing the two pictures belonging to Amalia Galastar and her loyal servant, Martatoriot-OX. A pleased laughter was let out briefly by The Ace Duelist as he crossed his hand, noticing the news headline stated, "The Expose Crime of The Rising Star Amalia Galastar!!"
"It seems The Trophy Girl completed her goal," The Ace Duelist gave a chilling compliment, chuckling.
Viscable crossed his arms and praised, "Impressive effort."
"The plan for visiting her was initiated after this," Viscable remarked, swaying his hand to the right.
The horde of screens immediately shifted the screens into a blurry background as The Ace Duelist. As the screen slightly sped up its floating motion in a circle, Viscable raised his open hand upward, siphoning the racing bluish particles on his palm when he took a deep breath.
"Memory Reflection drone, come forth," The Ace Duelist chanted, flipping his hand beneath his chin.
A small whirling portal popped above The Ace Duelist's head, unfolding a black rock surface drone with its bubbly eyes glimmering a glossy gleam. The rocky drone sprawled the glowing yellow jellyfish-like tendrils from below and tenderly stung through Viscable's head with their bee-sting-shaped syringes.
With the tendrils striking his head, the horde of floating screens simultaneously shifted into a recording of Pendoswing swinging his pendulum necklace and summoning his giant monster from his back. The Ace Duelist set his anticipative focus on the beast releasing its contorted roar to the screen.
"Pause," Viscable ordered, halting the motion of the video.
The Ace Duelist grunted heedfully, "Now move back to the moment when he swung his necklace."
The video flashed back to the moment Pendoswing was about to swing his necklace. The Ace Duelist gawked at the pendulum necklace, the magenta gleams in his eyes brimming the longer he observed it. Nonetheless, Viscable leaned his head closer, enlightening the gleams even more.
"Memory Reflection Drone, deduce the truth of his power," The Ace Duelist asserted, thrusting his hand forward.
Amber flashes shone within The Ace Duelist's eyes, filtering his sight with a view full of the yellow filter. A cautious hum was freed from Viscable as his yellow-filtered sight showed shrouding white cloth enveloping The Reincarnated Cosmic Being's body, and a shiny white word above right stated, "The Power Source."
"My assumption is right about him, the necklace is only a little gimmick," The Ace Duelist uttered
"A stylish gimmick to summon his special move," Viscable mentioned. "It doesn't matter how many swings he can make because, in the end, he can just summon anything he wants."
"Hence, now it's time to find the most dangerous dragon in Langorold, Vucronic Dragon!" The Ace Duelist announced rigidly. "One dragon that can help match his night-infinite stamina."
"Facing Vucronic Dragon might be quite risky, but I, Gdark, will prevail flawlessly," Viscable added, releasing a delighted laugh.
The Ace Duelist dispatched the tendrils from his head, wiping the yellow flash traces from his eyes and returning his sight to normal. Even the magenta gleam alongside the horde of screens vanished when Viscable directed his sight to the back, hurriedly hovering as he commenced the hunt for Vucronic Dragon.
